After seeing 3 doctors, and being on 2 courses of oral steroids, triamcinolone, hydroxyzine, and hydrocortisone for itching, rash, and small clumped sores that looked like little bites, I was finally diagnosed with scabies by a friend. After treatment with ivermectin (more than once), I still had severe itching for about 6 weeks. No prescriptions worked at all on the itching, except the triamcinolone for short periods of time. The Dr. Berry products were a godsend – I used them as another reviewer had recommended. The creme, which I applied on my entire body at night, worked amazingly well on the nocturnal itching and the soap provided relief from daytime itching. As an aside, one of the doctors told me that sulfur products wouldn’t help at all, thankfully I didn’t listen.

It ended up being way too harsh for my skin. I admit to not following directions and kept it on overnight, no lotion after so I suppose that was my fault. I reeked, too. For the purpose of the product, I still have plenty when the need arise but next time I will not overdo it! Use custom—strong stuff! My favorite out of the collection were the bath oil drops as that item seemed unique to what else was offered out there. I ended up going to a dermatologist next day appt to urgently get on steroid cream to heal my pissed off skin.

If you have a teen that has acne, your teen will LOVE this! Firstly, the cream has a fine grittiness to it that gently exfoliates the skin, unclogging the pores and removing dead skin cells, and other debris. The sulfur kills bacteria, reduces sebum, promotes skin turnover and also removes dead skin cells! This would be great for backne or acne on other parts of the body, ingrown hair and swollen follicles where you shave, like the bikini area. The sulfur soap is gentle, and the addition of lavender makes the smell more pleasant! This soap and the cream are great under the arms too! The bacteria killing power makes this a great product to layer with natural deodorants, which sometimes lack the power of aluminum containing anti-perspirants. The granules in the cream, massaged into the armpit, soften the skin, add bacteria fighting power and promote skin turnover so you can have pretty underarms that don’t smell! As for the sulfur smell, it’s really pretty mild, it is slightly medicinal but not strong or off-putting. These products manage to be both potent and gentle to the skin, something that is hard to do. I also love that this covers several skin conditions and is truly great to have on hand for the whole family!

I liked this product because it works but there are some down sides. I thought the cream would actually be a cream, it is very liquidy and the smell is extermly bad, my 3 year old grandson won’t come by me and says he has to get away from me because I stink. In spite of the smell I continue to use it because it works.
