I do not have diabetes nor do I have bad problems with water retention but compression socks make my lower legs/feet feel supported during exercise and warm when I am not active.
These socks are easy to put on and take off so I don’t dread diving down between my knees and wrestling with my feet and a bunch of super resistant fabric to put on and take off.
The compression tension on the socks is even and moderate. I know diabetics who use this level of compression and it is comfortable and feels therapeutic.
I have worn the socks for gym work outs and just for day to day casual wear and I like them for both purposes.
The socks look good, they are kind of “sheer”, and they have a logo located on top where the toes emerge from my foot so I can make corrections when lining them up to put them on.
Good purchase. I have recommended them to a couple of “work out friends”.

Oh how I wish I could have given you five stars. As the socks are EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. Lightweight, light support, and fits. Three cheers!
BUT, in spite of utmost care while taking the packaging off, I couldn’t help snag my brand new socks because of the extra little plastic connecter got tangled in the fabric. SO frustrating!
I almost understand why one is necessary, so they stay together, but there’s no reason at all for the little extra tag stapled onto the sock with the tiny tag. ARGHHHH
I really want to order some more of these, but wonder if there’s anyway I could get them without those stupid things.
They are bad for the environment, bad for people trying to get them out of the package, and annoying as all get out.

Although they could be comfortable and do provide good support, the tube is 6 inches too long for my legs. I had to roll the top over or the tube would go over my knees!

I like the 8-15mm compression which is enough to help my varicose vein problem without strangling my legs. The socks are well made overall but I would like to see a full heel cushion instead of the current configuration.
I wear these socks at least 2 to 3 times a week when I walk more than 2 miles at a time. They have really helped with my circulation problem without being too much. They are fairly easy to get on and reach to the bottom of my knee. They look good with khaki shorts too. White with the khaki shorts.
If you need light compression socks these are worth the money. I have worn them all day with no problems but do not recommend sleeping in the per my doctors orders. Would buy them again if I need more.

I purchased these for my husband. His legs will swell real bad. He has had blood clots some years back. He was told to wear medical compression stockings to help with swelling in his legs. As he has gotten older they are very hard for him to get on, so he quit wearing them. So I decided to try these for him and see how they worked. He stated these are easier to get on (and I can see that) and are very similar to the compression stockings (not quite as tight). He wears them all day and says they are very comfortable. His legs did not swell when he wore them. So far he really likes them. We will get his doctors opinion when he goes for regular checkup.

I opened a new pair of these socks in a rush for work this morning. I did not have a pair of scissors handy so I decided to tear the tag off with my hands. The sock material is so cheap when the tag tore, the material also tore and left me with a huge hole in my brand new sock. As this package is a two pair, I grabbed the other pair of new socks along with a pair of scissors to properly cut the tag. Even when using scissors, the sock material still had a bunch of threads that came loose. I decided to wear them anyway as now I was in even more of a rush thanks to these over priced poorly made socks. The socks provided barely any compression. Not worth the money or frustration.

If I’m fortunate enough to get a seat on the Subway I always cross my legs so everyone can admire my Doctor’s Choice Over the Calf Compression socks. Once an attractive woman who had been eyeing me the entire ride dropped a piece of paper on my lap as she got off at her stop. I smugly assumed it was her telephone number. Instead it said ” Hey Big Boy, I really like your Doctor’s Choice Over the Calf Compression socks!” Once in a bucket-of-blood tavern a drunken biker approached me and said “I don’t like your face and I was gonna punch it until I saw those handsome Doctor’s Choice Over the Calf Compression socks you’re wearing!” Another time I was being chased by a vicious pit-bull terrier.
I fell and he was about to bite my leg when he said “Oh, you are wearing Doctor’s Choice Over the Calf Compression socks! I don’t want to ruin them by biting you. Tell me, do they come in any colors other than black, tan, and white?” I had to tell him they didn’t. He said “That’s a shame. I’d like a nice forest green or Navy Blue or a dark maroon, or gray, maybe even a vertical stripe.”
So it’s unanimous; everyone likes the silky texture, the ease at which these socks go on and that they are so smooth you don’t even know you are wearing them. If they only came in more colors…
