I liked this product just fine… it hasn’t had time to work yet, though I am applying it to my dark spots, regularly. It works as a moisturizer, if nothing else… I’ll post here, when (and IF) it works!

After a surgery on the back of my hand, I developed a dry, hard scar. My dermatologist said a topical steroid would probably just make it worse, and suggested an OTC vitamin C cream would be a better first step. I selected this one based on reviews as well as price. It has a light but pleasant scent. It is also light in texture, not leaving any kind of sticky or greasy residue like some moisturizing creams do. I’ve been applying it several times a day and it has definitely softened the scarred area. And the dry flaking skin issue is gone. I would not say it has made the scar smaller but that wasn’t the hope when buying it. Mainly I wanted it to be less hard, tight and dry, and it has accomplished those goals. The edges of the scar no longer pull painfully. Because I have only used it on one hand, it’s easy for me to compare and there is definitely a difference in the texture of the skin on the treated vs the untreated hand. The hand I’ve been using the cream on feels smooth and not bumpy like the other hand. Also, the age spots on the treated hand are definitely lighter in color than they were. I’m going to use it on my other hand as well. Overall I only have a positive experience with this product.

The texture is absolutely lovely. Absorbs quickly. Skin feels soft and hydrated but not oversaturated or greasy. A nice face cream that doesn’t overpromise.
