Great for dry, cracked, chapped skin, especially on my heels. I’ve found it works almost as well as fresh aloe (and nothing works better than fresh aloe!) for treating burns. It’s thick and even a bit greasy when I first put it on, but absorbs fast. I can pronounce all the ingredients, and know what they are–in fact, several are growing in my garden. Practically fragrance free.

I’m on the fence about this. It feels good to use it. It doesn’t do much for moisturizing. I use it for my feet now and not for my hands since it did little for dryness with my hands. I hoped for a bit more and wanted to provide this as a solution for a family member’s psoriasis.

good first impressions
It got here faster than I expected. The tin is larger than i expected. you get alot for the price.

I expected a flowery scent or the like since this is a natural product, but the smell is quite strong. At first it seems mild, but after I apply it to my skin the smell seems to grow in intensity. Its not a terrible smell, but it can be overwhelming for anyone with a sensitive nose.
I can not speak to the effectiveness of the product yet since its the first day I got it, but I plan to update my review as I have more experience with this product.

This has been very helpful with an unusual rash on my skin. I don’t even notice the scent of the salve anymore. It helps a lot and i have not experienced any negative side effects. I’m happy i bought this. i will buy it again.

I love this product! We’ve been battling my son’s eczema for what seems like forever and I have tried countless creams, lotions and salves. This is my favorite product so far and I personally find it better than the honey products that are super popular right now. After a few minutes it really calms the redness he gets in his cheeks and chin. I use this in combination with a calendula moisturizer on his body since I feel like this does more healing than moisturizing. I use this primarily on the red, angry patches on his knees, elbows, feet, and hands.
Additionally, I experienced great customer service today after calling about an odd smell from the last tin I purchased. They immediately offered to send a new tin in the mail and I really appreciate the ease and helpfulness from the company.

The Herpanacine & H-Psoriasis Formula did the healing & the salve is used daily as upkeep & moisturizer. The process slowed over a month or so & then the healing time lengthened. By the second month, it healed & has stayed healed!

I actually bought this product to use on my horse – he was having a weird skin allergy to an unknown irritant which resulted in his skin peeling on his chest. I saw in a book about herbals for horses that calendula could be used on them topically for irritations and figured I would give it a shot. I absolutely love the smell of this product and the slightly waxy texture makes it stick to my horse’s skin where other creams come off almost immediately. He enjoys me rubbing this on his itchy chest and has had no ill effect from it – best of all, his peely skin has cleared up after just a couple applications about once a week!

This salve is wonderful for dry feet, hands, elbows, etc. Calendula is sooo good for the skin, and this salve is thick, smooth, and really good to use on heels, elbows and other really dry spots. It has a nice scent as well. Recommended!
