No doubt about it, the presentation of this skincare set is beautiful. When I first opened the box, I was overjoyed to see the array of products located inside. All items were nestled nice and snug inside a beautiful silk lined box. The first thing I used was the facial cleanser, which has a creamy texture to it. I thought it did well and produced a nice lather. It didn’t dry out my skin or cause any type of irritation.
If you’re familiar with a skincare routine, you will probably know the order of product. I did not see any type of instructions or ingredient list on each item, so I continued the routine in the order I believed was correct. At this point, I followed up with the essence water after the cleanser. It seemed to have provided a nice boost of hydration to my face. I then proceeded with the essence serum. It wasn’t too oily and absorbed into my skin rather quickly. I then followed up with the essence cream, which wasn’t as thick as I had imagined it to be. My face felt a little prickly after application, but that soon dissipated. After all that, I put the eye cream on, which was more like a lotion in regard to texture. It went on smoothly, and most importantly, didn’t dry out my under eyes.
This set also included lotion, which I thought was for the face, but I believe it’s for the body. It’s kind of simple and not the most hydrating. The BB cream is thick and creamy but smells disgusting. However, the cream blends in well, and the smell fades away after about a minute. To give my honest opinion, I think this is a nice budget friendly set that provides all the basics. It’s mediocre in terms of quality but gives the appearance of a top dollar product. I would have loved a complete breakdown of the ingredients list just to get a better understanding of what I have been putting on my face.
