I’ve had been using this pill grinder for almost a year and have had no problems with it. It seems to be a very good product for its purpose. It crushes the pills up very quickly. Since I have arthritis in my right hand, I’ll cut very large pills in half so that it’s easier to turn the handle the first couple of spins, but this isn’t necessary. This has been helpful for me being able to take very large calcium pills other and other supplements that are in large pill form. It crushes the pills into a fine powder and makes it easy to add them to my morning protein shake.

This is well made item with nice features (two collection devices).
It is advertized as a “Pill Crusher Pulverizer”. It will certainly work well on pills that are not too large. Probably best on a small number of such pills that can be combined in one dose. Milling of a single small pill will likely leave a significant percentage of the pill in the grinder.
Will the grinder work on large pills, for example Calcium Citrate? In my opinion, it is not useful for this type of pill. For a start, the pill (if 600+mg, and likely even 200mg) would need to be broken up first. That is an effort-these pills are *hard*-and carries some risk (if using a knife to score or break the pill). Even then two runs would probably be needed) especially on 600+mg pills). Grinding up a 600mg pill daily would then be a lot of effort and I suspect the grinder would not last long. Better to buy the pill in powder or liquid form (expensive) or use a good coffee grinder (at least for 200mg pills) or blender (preferably glass or metal container for 600+mg pills).

This Pill Grinder is worth it’s weight in gold considering how well it works and how easy it is to use and clean. It is the only pill grinder I have ever seen. It grinds them to a powder, quickly and easily. It is wonderful!!!! Thank you very much for selling such a superb product. Normal pill crushers hurt the hand to use them and you have to constantly open them and shake the pill around to crush it totally. This I can grind 10 pills at a time. I have medically needy cats . This is wonderful! 💕😸🐈🐱😻 The cats are improving daily and this sure makes it easier on me!!!!

I have severe arthritis so this was initially a bit tough! But… I got it and it’s so worth it!
Tips- READ the directions. There’s a knob on bottom that adjusts for the fine-ness of the ground pills. Fine or extra fine.
Do NOT WASH! . Any bit of moisture will screw up any grinding machine! Just tap and napkin wipe out if needed. Or… use the included brush!
If a pill should get stuck, rotate handle in opposite direction a bit, then proceed as usual.
This product was loved so much by a veterinarian, they are buying for their office.
I use this for my 97 year old Mom who battles getting pills down. I put the ground pills in with some applesauce.
I see where others are putting in their patients coffee or juice!?? Be careful. Check with doctor if you can do this! Can be dangerous serving Rx with caffeine or acid fruit drinks.

This would be an awesome little pill grinder if it was easier to clean. Also there’s too many parts to misplace. Need to buy an extra grinder just for spare parts! Comes with a brush for cleaning, but I’m concerned about cleaning because some of the parts are compressed so tightly together I’m concerned water could get in there and get trapped. It makes me think this is way too disposable if it can’t be cleaned.

I’ve tried 3 of these and they all had the same problem – they all worked for 4 to 6 weeks and then wouldn’t crush pills anymore. The ridges inside apparently were down so it leaves big chunks of pill. Too bad they wear out so quickly because they do a good job at first but they’re really expensive if you have to replace them every couple of months.

Extremely impressed and satisfied with this pulverizer. I was looking for a pill crusher that was good for small pill / crystal-like / rock-like / coarse powder. I take MSM for hair growth and it comes in that rock shape. Measuring it is too difficult in that shape. I was on sketchy websites trying to find a grinder for other substances lol, I wasn’t sure what would work until I decided to test this grinder. Despite the MSM being a rather easy to break crystal, I was nervous buying a regular pill grinder over a sketchy site grinder since these ones are made for professional, pressed pills. But luckily it worked for me!
Also, some other metal amazon grinders complained about metal shavings getting in their mix! This grinder body does obviously have some metal but it has way less than other brands — which is why I chose it. If I notice anything like this in the future, I’ll edit my review to reflect that. For now, the grinder is super easy to operate and safe.
You turn it clockwise for fine powder, counterclockwose to make coarse. If it seems to get jammed, slightly turn it the opposite direction and then the correct direction again to get it to keep working.
