This stuff is wonderful! At 54 yrs of age, had my first experience a couple of months ago with chigger bites. Oh my… I was covered! I had already dug myself till I now have scarring, but I ordered this and it was a lifesaver. Stopped the itching immediately, and stayed on until you washed it off. Puts a “glaze” look over the bites and seals them I guess? Then after the chigger episode finally wore itself down after 3 weeks, I bought mums that turned out to be invested with mites. They ate the other leg up. Again, I used this and found relief. Now, if I have itchiness that doesn’t seem to go away, I reach for this for relief. Please don’t ever stop carrying this!

I have used this product for years, but its getting to the point where it is only available here or Chigarid themselves and then you pay as much for the shipping as you do for the product. I’ve learned to order the three-pack from Amazon.
Walking across my lawn (without muck boots) I attract biting chigars and no-see-um pests and they leave small nasty itchy spots around the top of my socks and lower leg. Chigarid is the only thing that helps reduce or eliminate the itch.

Great product for chiggers! If you have medium to large dark red bites on your skin that itch, you have chiggers. This product will seal the bite hole so the chiggers cannot crawl back out. You must seal all bites, or the chiggers will crawl out onto your skin and dig another hole into your skin and then you’ll have more bites. This is how they spread. You cannot see them, or feel them. They literally live under your skin. By sealing all bites, you suffocate them and they die under your skin. This product stops the itching and is waterproof. So it will not wash off when you take a shower. You could also use it for other bug bites too. I’ve been using this product for years and it’s truly the best for chiggers. I keep several bottles on hand and it’ll last for years sitting on your shelf. It’s a thick clear liquid and dries fast on the skin. You could use clear nail polish, but this product will stop the extreme itching.
