As a teen in the 90’s I absolutely loved the sensual strawberry and used it a lot, I had tons everywhere and always one in my pocket. I was really nastalgic and excited to find Candy Kisses again, I couldn’t wait to get them (hoping that I got a pack with my favorite flavor).
Sadly, it smells and tastes like old chapstick more than anything else. The original version had a strong strawberry taste and smell, this is just slightly fruity but overpowered by the “old” smell. The original was a pretty (nearly but not quite transparent) reddish pink, this is an opaque peachy color. The originals came with a smooth finish while this one has a bumpy appearance (more so on the bubble gum flavor)
The vanilla has a plastic seal on the tin and a rolled edge on the lid while the other two were unsealed and a raw cut edge.
While I can’t be sure, it feels like the tins are smaller than the original but it has been awhile.
I had hoped to use one and share the others with my daughters. At this point, I am leaning towards sending them back as it feels like they are unusable, especially at this price.

THIS MEMORY REMAINS THAT… A MEMORY!
First, I didnt get the correct flavors in my corresponding tin. I was really hankering for a lick of the sweet vanilla… you know the tasty vanilla ice cream memory. Didnt happen, I got 2 wrong flavors in my package. Ok, fine, ill set the differences aside and just enjoy the flavors I did get, because they are all delicious… amiright?
Well, well, well… opened it up to a disgusting, foul gloopy mess only akin to lithium grease or some other mechanical grease that should never come across someones smackers.
I am absolutely appalled by the product this seller has listed. It is worse than some backwoods-hillbilly-inbred-unclepapas sexy time jelly from the local hardware store that gave cleo the UTI from hell.

Well I love the little kisses heart tin. My favorite was always french vanilla then strawberry. Some of the lip gloss must of melted a bit because I could not for the life of me open it. It had a different style of lid then the others slightly. The others opened perfectly. But the French vanilla took hours of trying even my husband tried I gave up and cut the tin lid. I found that my metal spice jar lid from Wal-Mart worked okay but I used a hairtie to secure. Now I just keep it with the others in the heart tin without a lid. So im not complaining I’m so happy to have found such a nostalgic item at the price. So a bit of trouble but it was worth it. Would still buy again.
