This is a follow up to my review
after my first time purchasing. I’m still just as impressed with these bags. They have yet to let me down and believe me I’ve put some really smelly things in them. This was my 4th time ordering the small size and I now also use the medium and large sizes. They each have their particular uses. My favorite new use is when I clean out the fridge. I had some spoiled raw chicken which I put in a BOS bag,tied it off, threw it in the kitchen wastecan. I didn’t empty the can for 2 days and I never smelled a thing.

I don’t know how these work-but they do, and amazingly well.
For your comparison, here is how we use them: For the disposal of adult urine pads and Depends like underwear, 4 or 5 a day.
Before we got these bags, I had a separate small trash can with a lid, and it was lined with a scented trash bag that cinched closed once removed for overall disposal. We emptied it mostly everyday, and rarely it sat until the next day, but it always had a very unpleasant odor. I even tried wrapping each one of the pads in their own trash bag before placing it in the little can, but it did nothing to help. When taking it out to the main trash, I’d double bag it and I didn’t even want anyone to help take it outside because I was terrified they’d be overwhelmed with the smell. So after looking on Amazon, I decided to try these bags.
What an amazing difference! Seriously, even after sitting for a day or two in a closed waste can-when I opened the lid to empty it-no overwhelming smell at all! (I still use a small separate can that’s lined with a main bag for easy disposal).
For size reference, this size bag holds 2 medium size underwear like Depends (but that fills it) or two of the size #6 Poise pads, and the bag can still be twisted & tied up as instructed for proper disposal. No more embarrassing odor.
Anyways, these have helped me so much, and I’m very glad I got them. We have a lot of traffic in and out of our bathrooms & I no longer have to worry about about an embarrassing odor sneaking its way out of the can.
