I use these for neonate (baby) kittens that we foster. You have to have a heat source that does not turn off. These, I have 2, are perfect for how we use them. The only down side is that there aren’t enough levels of heat. I wish there was a mid setting. Only a low and high. The cover easily removes and can be washed. The pad itself can be wiped down. The cord isn’t super long, but unless you done have a plug nearby you would be fine.
Overall good value for the price.

Though my original review below was angry that this heating pad stopped working after 2 weeks, I came to find that this company has a stellar return policy; you’re not even required to return the bad item. Not only did they ship a new pad immediately, they even UPGRADED the model to one twice as expensive for no extra charge. AND it’s a lifetime warranty! Under these conditions, you literally cant go wrong. Therefore, I’ve raised my review back to 5 stars!

OH, how I WANTED to love this item! I wanted this item to be PERFECT, because it’s the ONLY one I could find on Amazon that ACTUALLY gets HOT. Yes, that’s right, nearly every single heating pad here gets merely WARM. If you have deep pain, that’s well below the surface of the skin, you want that thing to be REALLY hot; I prefer it to be so hot that it could potentially burn you if you’re not careful. Such a hard thing to find nowadays! THIS pad HAD it! DID. But now, 2 weeks after receiving it, it just STOPPED!! The light turns on, no heat! Grrr…Gotta return it …>:-{

It’s a great heating pad. I bought it when it was 50% off. and for 9.99 it’s great. I don’t know if i’d spend 19.99 on it. It only has 2 heat settings, but it gets very warm and is a decent size.

Nice small size, perfect for keeping small baby birds and mammals constantly warm. The ones with auto-shut-off do not work for this. Simple, lighted switch, quick to heat.

I needed a basic and generic heating pad for my lower back. This did the job. There are no fancy temperature levels. It is in a large square shape but it works for what I need. The price is great.

I like that it doesn’t turn off in 20 mins like a lot of the other ones. I use a heating pad daily and I use them for our little dog. This one is great for her not quite hot enough for me. You just have to remember to turn it off. Works great for her and for most people I just like them to get hot hot!
