The smell is OK. I thought it would work better. Have used the same lotion for years and never peels with a slight burn. Can’t find the lotion so I thought I would try this. Well had a slight burn and I did peel using this creme. Don’t know if I will buy again.

I absolutely love this lotion especially whenever I get some sun. This will heal your sunburn within 2 days all while taking that tan just right. It smells beachy. not very strong of a smell though. It’s very moisturizing. A little pricey but it definitely is worth it and a small amount goes a good ways. Soft and moisturizing not sticky.

As a fair skin girl in Maui I’ve been searching for an after sun lotion that really works for me. This is the perfect balance for sun damaged skin. Light enough to absorb quickly with no greasiness and allow the skin to “breathe” and continue to attract more water… but creamy enough to keep the skin supple and keep moisture locked in. Totally unlike traditional remedies like aloe which dries too tight, or coconut oil which just adds to the heat. This stuff has me sold on cupuacu.
I’m pretty picky and ingredient sensitive, which is why I gave this random unknown brand a try. Jojoba oil and lanolin give me an itchy rash and it’s nearly impossible to find after sun lotions without one or both, so im happy to find this one. Also, strong fragrances tend to give me a headache or burn my skin as soon as I apply them, but using something with 0 fragrance is just no fun. This has a pleasant super mild orange creamsicle with a hint of oatmeal fragrance lasts a long time without being over powering or irritating.
Like another review said, my skin just FEELS healthier using this lotion.
Edit: every time I use this I love it a little more. Just get it! Hope they never stop making it!

I have not very fair skin but kind of fair skin. I do eventually tan but I have to burn areas I haven’t tanned for years up to 3 or 4 times. I know, skin cancer, but, I tanned my legs only one other time in my life, and now years later I’m trying again. ANYWAYS, long story short, my legs burned to lobster red, no blisters, and I used this, and the pain subsided. I had to re apply after 3 hours, and I went to bed. I woke up the next morning and my legs looked dry and wrinkly and red still, so I applied more, and 3-4 hours later I applied more, and 3-4 hours more I applied more and went to bed, and the morning after that the wrinkles went away, no pain, but there was still redness so I only applied in the morning and right before bed for 3 days. The 3rd day the redness went down to a light olive tan with a red/pink tint. So, I applied for a week only right before bed and now I have a nice light tan. The smell is great! I only needed about a regular sized woman palm full for each leg, so maybe 2 tablespoons? Give or take. So I highly recommend this product after a tan, it shortened my chance of burning again.

I LOVE this lotion and will never go back to my previous brand. It has a SLIGHT but very pleasant sweet scent and dries quickly after being applied. It’s saved my skin from many nasty burns and left me tan! I’ve never had any breakouts from applying it to my face (having sensitive skin, I can’t say this for all after sun products). Totally in love with this product!

I purchased this brand because the brand recommended would not arrive before my vacation. I purchased primarily to deal with sunburns, in hope I would not peel since I did not pre-tan. While my burn was fairly mild, I did still experience some peeling on my arms. The product smells so good and it is not overwhelming in scent. It has nice moisturization and absorption. I will likely purchase again.
