There are a lot of lip balms out there but DCT does not leave your lips feeling dry. It’s not a product you have to use over and over. And as a bonus it has SPF in it. It’s the only lip balm we use. Big fan.

I live in Florida and the sun can be brutal on tender lips. This product is the ONLY one I have found that will keep my lips from getting sunburned. It goes on smooth and stays on. I also use at night all year round to keep my lips from getting chapped from cold or wind. I cannot live without it.

We have been loyal customers of the DCT with spf 20 for years. The formula is now changed, so that not only doesn’t have any sunscreen, but the texture is like paste and it tastes like motor oil. If we could give it a 0 star we would. They didn’t need to fix what wasn’t broken. Very disappointed.

History – in circa 2016 or 2017, Blistex reformuated this product with new sunscreens which for many caused the product to taste acrid and nasty. In 2020, they reformuated again to remove all suncreeens and left a product substantially like the original, perfectly good. One can tell it is the new formulation by the absence of an SPF claim on the Jar and package. The issue then was finding a seller who actually offered it (as opposed to them getting rid of old stock, and despite picturing the new product on Amazon). This supplier gave me the new stock and promised beforehand to take a return if they didn’t – so thank you very much!
