When I was looking for some disposable syringes for 10 mL, I would either find them individually or in a pack of 100. I would have purchased about 20 or 30, not 100, but fewer wouldn’t do. I like using these when administering meds to my toddler. I used to try to hide meds in her formula, apple sause, yogurt, or avocado, but she’s completely onto me now. Daycare showed we a way to pin my 24 month old down on the floor and she is usually willing to swallow the meds, but the syringe needs to be used (don’t call social services, after meds are administered my daughter sits up and goes on her merry way). I went on a trip and brought some childrens advil and allergy meds just in case we needed it. These syringes were great for when visiting family and friends and storing some pre-measured meds in the diaper bag “just in case.” I wish they were individually wrapped syringes. I didn’t have the caps with me on the trip, but I know to bring them next time, I’m sure the caps will come in handy. They have a plastic smell, assuming the smell doesn’t leak into the meds. I should have enough syringes to last me several years of medince administration 🙂
Update (10/24/13): I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I have used up all 100 syringes in 4 months time! They have been so handy when prepping my daughters meds, the caps work great, etc. Sometimes it’s just easier to throw the syringe away when on trips or errands rather than rinsing them for later use, that’s why I went through so many. Now I’m back ordering more lol. I went from a 3 star to a 4 star vote, would have given it a 5 star vote if the syringes were indidually wrapped.

We have used there for most my daughter’s life. She is on several medications and these allow us to prep her meds before hand. These are great quality the numbers don’t rub off after just 2 uses , they don’t leak with the cap on allowing us to take them on the go and the plungers don’t break on us either. I HIGHLY recommend these if anyone wants to make life simpler with there medications. We subscribed to get these monthly.

I hate the stench of CBD oil (smells a little like HEAVY laden oregano oil, maybe…I don’t like the smell of oregano either). I don’t want to open their bottles daily, measure daily, smell daily. But my son’s epilepsy, autism, and general-teenaged-angsty-turdiness have improved with the CBD (the epilepsy less than the general-teenaged-angsty-turdiness…the CBD has saved one of our lives in that regard [kidding, but fellow teen boy parents probably get it]). But, again, the gag-inducing smell…
When a new, 100ml bottle arrives, I breathe through my mouth and go ahead and divvy the whole thing into syringes with kids, which I keep in a dark drawer in a blue zipper storage bag. Previously I’ve used the 1mL syringes, different manufacturer, but the lids didn’t snap ‘locked’ like these do. Not a single, smelly drop of CBD oil has escaped these 10 ml (5 days for my son) syringes. The price per day came out a little cheaper, too. I certainly appreciate all the savings I can get.

I got these to use with my sons quillivant xr. The bottles come with a stopper and 1 doseing syringe. I was concerned that these might not fit that particular stopper/bottle. The fit is a bit loose but works perfectly. It is convenient to make up 2 weeks worth of doses and by doing it this way you can catch pharmacy mistakes. I am always amazed that I cant seem to get the exact dose from the bottle and I have come to realize that the pharmacy might be mixing it sometimes a few ml under. The caps that come with the syringes fit perfect, and I feel better that I can seal the syringe off.

Our pup gets a medication slurry before bedtime.
Our vet supplied a few oral syringes but they would only last 3-5 days. The markings wore off quickly, the plunger was “sticky” and the rubber tip would pop off.
The last two we received were these BD oral syringes. Wow! The plunger moves easily and the markings don’t wear off. The little end caps are nice as well. The current syringe is on day 11!
I ordered the pack of 100. They should last quite awhile.

Yes, I took a medication that was liquid and these had the best increments of measurements so doctor could fine tune just what I needed at the time. I was well pleased and though I think single use I used again and again. Super easy to read. Easy to use! I know it works great for animal meds also as I used them for my pet who I was able with vet directing just how to massage throat and get it down easily. Yes I recommend these for both uses per doctor/ vet orders!
