My skin is extremely sensitive (it reacts to aloe vera!), so I am very cautious with products.
We have well water that is hard & live in a typically “dry” climate. I have “combination skin.”
This oragnic derived tallow face balm is fantastic! I love it. It moisturizes my face without being too “greasy” feeling. Lightly scented with essential oil. Yes, the tallow smell comes through, but it’s less “powerful” than the smell of lanolin, so it’s not off-putting to me & I think the odor disappears fairly quickly.
I’ve even used the balm on scalp sores just inside my hairline, and it seemed to decrease the inflammation that area and allow my skin to heal a bit.
The texture is smooth, not grainy; well-blended. Absorbs quickly.
I’m very pleased with this White Sparrow Farmacy tallow balm, and will continue using it so long as I can. I’m happy to support the small business from my home state (I use their tallow lip balm, too!).

I can’t say this product isn’t effective, I have only used it for a few days. I got the vanilla scent. I feel like I smell like a glazed donut. Now don’t get excited, it’s like the grease from a glazed donut. You can tell it smells of tallo. I know how tallo smells and because of that, that’s all I smell. Perhaps it’s great for your skin, but I feel like I’ve used other oils that are better. I’ll update if I change my mind. It’s too expensive not to use.

Okay listen! I have spent thousands of dollars on moisturizers that I don’t have to continually apply throughout the day to keep my face from crinkling up from dehydration. This is it! It feels so good! My pores are clean still, my skin just looks youthful and supple. I get dehydrated faster than normal people because I had my colon removed so I am always thirsty. And that takes a toll on my skin! This Tallow keeps my skin moisturized and plump with this beautiful glow all day long! I seriously cannot thank this company enough for such a beautiful product! I really hope they see this and use this in their next advertising. The scent is also very lovely, I got the lavender. It’s very very light and it does not have a funny smell

I had never tried this type of moisturizer before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Trying to reduce the amount of chemicals in our life. I actually really like this stuff! I can tell a little is going to go along way. The smell is very gentle. No weird smell at all. I take a little bit and warm it up between my fingers and dab it all over my face. Pat pat pat and let it absorb a little. Feels soft all day long and not greasy.

This is a gorgeous creme that smells wonderful. Clean ingredients that you can feel and worth every penny. A little goes a long way over my serums and as a final step I use a tinted SPF which creates a great base for older skin. I don’t use a foundation, just blush and this gives me a better glow and look than the greasy JR WTFoundation. I have tried a gazzilion cremes and this has become my new favorite. FYI; I do gently exfoliate two to three times a week to keep my pores clean. I LOOOOOOVE it!

I really enjoy using this tallow, not only does it smell really nice (the vanilla is light and not overpowering, smells like a vanilla cupcake) but the formula is very creamy and absorbs nicely. Little goes a long way, I purchased early summer and it is beginning of October when I’m writing this review and I’m only 1/4 of a way through the product and this is even with my husband using it occasionally so well worth the price.
