This is my first glucose monitor ever, and I have to say, I think even a monkey could use this monitor. The design of the device is incredibly intuitive and simple. The kit comes with plenty of pricks, testing strips, and everything you’d need. As the cheapest glucometer on Amazon at the time of this review, I have to say, I can’t imagine any of the more expensive ones would be better. This one works great, is easy to use, and saves past readings. Does everything you’d want a glucometer to do!

Needed to replace my old meter and settled on this one. Functions relatively speaking like every other meter I have used and appears to be accurate (in comparison to measurements taken on my old meter). So was affordable and does the job perfectly.

UPDATE ……..HAD IT CALIBRATED NOW ITS WORKING FINE I followed all directions and troubleshooting methods . I can test myself 4 times in a row and my readings are very far apart each of them .
From 80 to 140. Not very safe if I was taking insulin .

Disappointing, I’ve used this meter for about a year now, after really watching my diet, I would focus on just one finger resting alternating between left and right hand everyday since I noticed there was a major difference in readings.
Today I woke up to extreme low compared to my regular readings of 75 left finger so I tried right finger that gave me 112 which is also extreme for my strict diet etc. Cannot trust this its completely unpredictable and who knows how long it’s been faulty. This is so messed up for people who rely and try their best. The positive reviews not be real.
Take some time to read the negative reviews for this product they are more real. Looking into another brand as I just don’t trust this anything. What a waste of time energy and tracking.
