This cream actually made my skin even more oily. It absolutely did not work on any part of my face. This is a moisturizing cream, not an oil controlling cream. Falsely advertised, and of course I can’t return it as this seller does not accept returns. What a joke.

ANTHONY INSTANT OIL FIX does what it says it will!! I’m 72 & have tried A Lot of other products that promise to remove shine. They have All Failed. Perhaps one reason that Anthony Instant Oil Fix does stop the shine is that it’s made for Men. Products designed for women usually combine concealer/primer & include silicone. Silicone ends up leaving tiny balls of excess product on my face. I also like Anthony’s Light fresh, lemony fragrance when I apply it. At only $10 an ounce for a 3 0z. tube it’s a good value price wise. Especially since it Lasts so long! I use it once a day Every day. I rec’d mine on the 8th of Dec. 2019 and as the 22nd of Feb. 2021 that tube has not run out!! [Those dates are not typos!]. Btw, because I have a couple of red spots on my nose I’ve begun mixing in a tiny amt. of a foundation (w/added benefit of sunscreen) but this has Not diminished Anthony’s effectiveness whatsoever. Obviously I highly recommend this product!

This product is such a disappointment. It doesn’t do anything. Nothing at all. It’s a complete waste of money.
For ages now, I’ve been looking for a product to replace the (sadly) discontinued GOATs, that are Lab Series Power Pore Anti-shine & Treatment, and Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel. Unfortunately, this product isn’t at all comparable, and shouldn’t be bought by anyone.

I’m a bald biracial black man. That combination makes a shiny head even without oil on it. Add a little oil to that and I can burn some ants and bugs and start fire with my head. This stuff is phenomenal. I very rarely ever review my purchases on Amazon. They need to really stand out good or bad. This one is good and I just got it in the mail this morning. I wore it for 4 hours and I still did not have a shiny head. Nothing I used before made it that long before needing to be reapplied. If it can do this to my head then I’m sure if you a oily face problem it will help.
Price: I give it a 3 because it’s up there but in this case you really get what you pay for. It doesn’t take a lot of product to cover my big head so it will last. So in that case it probably deserves a 4 rating
Moisturizer: I gave it a 3 simply because it does not market itself as a moisturizer even though it makes my bald head feel as good or better than a dedicated moisturizer in the same price range. Because it basically says it’s not a moisturizer I will continue to use a moisturizer before applying this.

I tried other oil control lotions but I’m returning to this because it just works well and it’s easy to use. Cheaper definitely was not better for me so even though this is a but pricier, it’s always a better value when you’re squeezing out the entire bottle versus throwing out or leaving it unused.

I have super oily skin and this product absorbs oil like nobody’s business. It leaves skin soft and ready for makeup or whatever product you need to apply next. I use it as primer under my foundation and it keeps my makeup fresh for hours. Has a light, fresh scent that quickly fades. Zero irritation.

I was really hoping for this product to work. I gave it a month try. Wasn’t worth returning it because I needed to see if it was effective with make up, and without make up. As well as days around my period. it gave my skin a matte look for about an hour and a half. And then looked as if I never applied it.
The scent is not too strong. It’s actually pleasant in my opinion, but I won’t be purchasing again.
