If you can get past the taste you will appreciate the therapeutic relief it provides if you follow instructions and inhale the steam while you slowly sip the medication when you have the miserable dreaded flu. The medication itself is soothing for a sore throat and the steam you inhale helps your nasal congestion. Helped ease my flu symptoms this season, bring down my fever and lessen aches and pains. I usually buy Alka Seltzer Plus for Cold & Flu at my warehouse club but they were sold out and I purchased this product on Amazon. It’s different from the one I get at my warehouse club because those are effervescent tablets that you mix with cold water and this item is a powder in a pouch that you mix with hot water like Thera Flu (Thera Flu is much more difficult to deal with its taste IMO). My mother complained this was gross when I gave her this product to use. Despite gagging and whining and complaining incessantly, a week later she was running to Walmart to buy more for herself asap not realizing it was priced comparably on Amazon. But she was out and needed more right away and couldn’t wait for delivery. She admitted that she was miserable and NOTHING else helped relieve her symptoms the way this product did. She stocked up too lol.

I don’t know that I’d like the flavor at all when not sick, but this is all I want when under the weather. It is warm, soothing, easy to prepare, and somehow just hits the spot while providing a combo of meds to help relieve symptoms of the flu. I do take the flu shot every year, but managed to get a weaker version that still made me wish for death… this helped a lot.

Received on time. Was worried it may have been near the expiration date but surprisingly does not expire until 6/2026.

I wish these weren’t so hard to find. I think they work better than Theraflu, definitely taste better than Theraflu! and are much better than the fizzy cold-flu Alka-Seltzer tablets. When you are sick you want a hot drink, not fizz bubbles going up your nose! And because it’s a drink, a little gets under your tongue and starts working right away.
Be warned: the night powder will absolutely knock you out, and you will be groggy when you wake up. Not something to take if you have to drag yourself to an important meeting regardless of germs! But I think it helps you get better faster by giving your body the break it needs.

I’m allergic to most everything else out there so I’m afraid to try anything new. I’m sticking with this! I’m not allergic to it and it works. So, why would I try anything else?

I downed one of these and I’m breathing through my nose 10 minutes later. Gels hurt my stomach and syrup is abominable, so when I saw this in a store I picked it up on a whim and loved it. When I ran out I drove to 3 stores and couldn’t find it and had to get it here. The taste is a weird sweet which is good to me given it’s medicine and the honey/hot water combo helps soothe the throat, no need for cough drops.
