I recently tried these Alka-Seltzer Plus New Cough & Sore Throat Fizzy Chews, and I have to say, they are pretty cool!

I’ve always liked the effects of Alka-seltzer, but it’s not always convenient to have a glass of water to dissolve tablets in and I don’t always love having to drink the medicine if I’m already sick. But these are very easy to take and effective.

I had a packet of these after a plane ride where I feel got me feeling a lil down. I had 2 of these and they were easy to eat on the go and were actually tasty. I could almost eat them like candy.

I have a love/hate relationship with Alka-Seltzer. My mother used to give it to me as a kid and I always hated the taste and the sensation of the bubbles. But it definitely made my tummy aches feel a lot better. As I have aged, I have used Pepto-Bismol (also not a favorite) and Tums (more pleasant). These are sort of like tums in the fact that you chew them to release the goodness. They taste pretty good. The advantage here being that they are contained in sealed pouches so they make a great addition to a purse or backpack to assist when traveling. I like these a lot and will probably become a mainstay in my cabinet.

Don’t love the flavor but I’ve had worse I guess. Seemed to work OK, didn’t quite cure me but alleviated symptoms. Best before an event or before bed when irritation and sickness are the most annoying when symptoms make you feel like garbage

Not a fan of the taste but they are chewable. Medication seems to work well. Easy to carry.

These have been wonderful for my sore throat that i just conveniently had right before my birthday. It’s a bit odd to see “alka seltzer” but then instructed to chew the tablet rather than dissolve it in some water, but i’m not complaining, gets it down way faster. It really does work wonders too, since a good bit of it is passing over and absorbing straight into the area on the way down you get a bit of a localized quickening effect. I would snag these again.
