These are perfect for my AFO. I hand wash them because they stretch out when I put them in washing machine and dryer.

If you wear leg braces (AFOs), like me, these are the best socks out there! I also have hammertoe, so between the AFO and the hammertoes, seams of other socks and cause painful pressure points. One of the best things about these socks are they have no seams, so no painful seams jabbing into your foot. Also, it is impossible to find socks that go up as high as your brace. These socks go beyond the end of my braces. I am 5’3″. In fact if I buy the adult regular, I have enough sock to roll back down over my leg brace halfway down! They are expensive, but to me they are worth it because they are the only sock that really works with my leg brace and hammertoes. Also they are made really well, as I have had some pairs last over 5 years with washing them weekly!
Apple –
I have chemotherapy induced neuropathy in one foot that swells, prickles, zaps, aches and hurts. It is accompanied by micro-sensitivity. When I wear a sock I feel every thread of the sock and when I take the sock off it is usually imprinted on the top and side of my foot. I purchased these socks specifically to wear under a knee-high brace.
PROS: They are sufficiently stretchy to reach above the knee and I can fold down the extra over the brace when it is on. The sock does not drag down or droop in or out of the brace; a major consideration. There are no seams in the toes, heels or anywhere else to rub or imprint on the foot or leg. It is a smooth surface when I put it on the leg and does not bulk up when the brace is on. The sock has a stretchy but tight weave.
CONS (for me): They are not super soft and there is a small amount of compression built into the socks that helps to keep them on. Both of these issues affect the hyper-sensitivity in my feet and increase the pain. I don’t wear these socks except when I wear the brace.
I don’t wear this sock on the foot that is not in a brace therefore cannot comment on its comfort when not dealing with health issues.

I feel like I got ROGUED. I paid 67.43. Somehow I thought I had a three pack. Superlative quality BUT I got a single pair that had a price tag attached that read 25.99. Would I deal with this vendor agai. Not bloody likely!
