Even if your travel is just to the office where you don’t have a quart size (and who does?) sharps container, these are great to take along. I haven’t filled one completely yet but use it for both lancets and pen needles. They are easily carried in many small, inconspicuous places. The lids snap closed securely and are easily opened with a firm tug. (Some reviews have said they use them as a temporary storage and dump them into a larger container later, then reuse the same ones later. Not sure I will use them in that manner.) I’m very satisfied with these. They are convenient, seem strong and safe and are a good value.

I purchased the 6pk sharps containers to use for several out of town trips I have coming up. I am diabetic, and have to inject insulin with a pen once and day and check my blood sugar at least twice a day. This container worked perfectly for a 6 day trip that I just returned from. It was large enough to hold all of my used needles, lancets, and test strips for the entire trip. The design is intended to house used syringes, but worked very well for my needs. I did not have issues with opening and closing top, but could see that it could pose a small challenge if the user has limited abilities due to arthritis or other dexterity impairments. Like other users, I did not permanently seal the container, but instead brought it home to add sharps to my big at home container. For me, the only draw back that I can include is that the container does not have a flat bottom to sit on a table, which would have made adding used sharps a little easier. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and will continue to utilize these containers for future trips. Safe, secure, excellent value.

These work great. Easy to use and smaller size than some that make them easier to store and use.

My fault I didn’t measure more closely. Well made. Not good for self injector sharps.

These are just a little bigger than I wanted them to be. They don’t fit well in most hand-held insulin coolers that might otherwise hold all your stuff. I use a crown royal bag if I’m not gone overnight and don’t need to leave it in the car. They fit well with my other stuff in that. I only use pen needles, so it will take me a while to fill up 6. Still, it’s a great idea and using makes me feel safer when I’m out and about.

When I ordered the AdirMed Sharps & Needles Bio-Hazard Disposal Container 1 Quart – 1 Pack, I was dubious. Would this really be a sufficient red plastic container for holding sharps I want to dispose of safely? It’s a big ask. Would I really be able to find something to save my self from countless cuts, needle sticks, and infection for the low price of under $8? It turns out, yes! The AdirMed Sharps & Needle Bio-Hazard Disposal Container 1 Quart – 1 Pack IS actually a plastic red container capable of holding sharps you want to dispose of safely! Who would have guessed?!
Package includes:
-red plastic container
-white/clear plastic lid
-endless safety
-improved quality of life
In all seriousness, I bought this for disposing of safety razors, and it’s kind of big. My fault for not having a firm grasp on how large a quart is.

I am a type 1 diabetic who wears a pump and a glucose monitor. I have a lot of medical waste at my house, including needles. This box is nice and sturdy, which is very important to me. I do not want to contribute to medical waste in the environment. It is a little small for my needs, though. I bought two of them and haven’t opened them yet, but my guess is that they will fill up in no time. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the size.

Great for anywhere or a larger disposal container is inconvenient

I am constantly on the go and needed a way to safely contain used lancets, used glucose testing strips, and used insulin pen needles. Having this product has made it convenient and safe to do any of my testing and medication needs any place I go. I have had no issues with the container, it meets all regulations for the storage and disposal of sharps containers. It fits nicely into my diabetic supply carrying case. Any individual needing this type of product would be satisfied with this product. It is also useful, I would assume for medical professionals, EMTs, or first response personal who need a portable yet regulated waste container. The price for the product was very satisfying, I had searched several products before making this purchase. The shipping was fast. I would highly recommend this product.
