I wanted to like this serum but it is SO oily! Not sure how that can help prevent acne! I’m not a fan of the scent — it’s not terrible but it’s not good either. At $20 for an ounce, it is ridiculously overpriced. I don’t like how it left my face feeling so greasy! Can’t recommend it.

The serum contains several oils/vitamins, as result, it will take a while to absorb into the skin. For this reason, it is better worn as a nighttime serum. I have been using this serum as an alternative to each of the separate oils I was already using to save myself a few steps. I have not noticed any clogging of my pores since using this product and my skin has appeared more supple when I awake the morning after.

I found this as greasy and oily as cooking oil. I could not get it to absorb into my skin. After the first use, I waited an hour and could still feel it on my face so washed it off.
I then wondered if I had shaken it enough (something it says you have to do but I usually don’t need to do with other moisturizers). So, I shook it a lot and tried again. Again, it just laid on the surface of my skin. I was watching tv and monitored the time, painfully aware that I couldn’t lay my head on the pillow as I didn’t want this stuff wiping off onto the fabric. Again, at the end of the hour long show, my face was still greasy.
I love that it’s vegan and plant based but I need it to absorb and for whatever reason, it didn’t for me.

I am a huge fan of facial oils. This oil contains a combination of jojoba, plum, raspberry seed, and kakuda plum oil. Kakuda plum oil is one I never heard of before so I had to Google it. It is supposed to be beneficial to your skin and a good anti-aging oil. However, I read that Kakadu plum extracts should be stored in dark, air-tight bottles to reduce their exposure to sunlight and air. The bottle it comes in is not dark so I will be sure to store it where it is not exposed to light. The oil absorbs nicely and quickly. It has a different scent to it, not a bad scent, just an unusual one. I like the label, it states for best results, look in the mirror, smile, you are beautiful!

Expected it to be oily but it is not as oily as expected. Goes on smoothly and feels nicely going on. Does not have a smell to describe.
