To be clear, these are beautiful seashell containers but they are ineffective for holding pills because every time you open one, you have to squeeze it. The only time I’ve put medication in one, every time I opened it the pills flew. I could not find a way to open on of these without the pills flying everywhere.
I’m sure they’re cute to hold something, but I sure won’t be putting medication inside of them.

These are really cute shell containers. However, because they have a pry-apart design, I found them somewhat tricky to open without spilling pills everywhere. If you are patient and precise, they will open fine though. The quality seems good and they could hold 5-10 pills probably.

These shell-shaped containers are lovely and a lot of fun. They’re silicone but not really so soft and look just like clamshells. The outer surface is a matte surface and the inner surface is shiny. The pastel colors are appealing turquoise-green, pink, cream, and gray. A single shell won’t hold a lot of capsules or pills, but they’re such a nice idea for taking some meds or vitamins along for a day in a purse or backpack. To take more pills with you, take two or more clamshells along with you. One of mine isn’t easy to open at all, and the other three aren’t too difficult if you have a fingernail to slide into the crack between the two halves. You can always turn them so the crack in the shell faces up/down (they aren’t hinged or attached) and press them open, but then stuff on the inside could fall out. For people who keep their nails short or don’t have a lot of finger or hand strength, these might not work. These look so good anywhere, especially on top a dresser, bureau, nightstand, or vanity. These shells can hold a lot of different small items besides pills, such as ear studs, rings, small stones, crystals, or even a mouthful of small candies or some breath mints. I’m totally happy with these little clamshell containers!

These little silicone clamshell pill organizers are good for storing a day’s worth of pills or a week’s worth of a supplement in your purse, backpack or luggage. The silicone is good for keeping dirt out and freshness in and the shell shape affords roominess. I had a tough time prying them open by pulling the top from the bottom. I finally had to hold it sideways so the seam was facing me and pinching it open like a mouth. I finally opened a crack and I was able to get my finger in to pull it fully open. Fortunately, I didn’t lose pills in the process.

Very cute, where top and bottom halves are detached pieces. To open, I need my fingernail to start the separation, whereas if I try to open by squeezing from the sides, it’s probable its contents would spill out. Remember that the thinner shell is the top half.
Being silicone, these are easy to clean and dishwasher-safe.
These are not meant to be super-efficient pill cases. They are meant to work adequately while invoking thoughts of seashells (beach, summer, vacation, etc). These would make great stocking stuffers!

Great option for short trips to carry a few pills or keep an emergency stash of common medications in a bag or purse. These are easy to open but took me a bit to figure out how to close securely – lining up the 2 sides just takes a bit of finesse.

I thought this set of silicone shell cases was so unique! They are small inside, perfect size for small jewelry or maybe some bobby pins, (but that might be a tight fit lengthwise, depending on the size of your bobby pins. ) This is meant for pills mainly, but it really is rather multi-purpose. The covers I thought were a bit hard to pry open, but that is probably what I want, so that they don’t pop open easily if I have them in my purse. The tops come completely off, no hinges or attachments anywhere, and then you just press them back on again to seal up. So far, I really like these.

You don’t necessarily need to use these only for pills. They are a very thick silicone which is very sturdy. I was a little concerned about the lids fitting back together properly, but with effort you can push and make sure it seals well. These are very cute and are easy to transport, they even fit well in a pocket.

These are very cute seashell containers that are tough to open and tough to seal when closing. The storage capacity is tiny, and I’m more likely to spill the contents when opening or closing than to actually operate these correctly. That said, my family loves these and they’re willing to take the risk with them. They love the variety of colors and the silicone is high quality. I wouldn’t consider these for something to carry pills in on a regular basis, but they’re certainly a charming addition to your travel essentials or a fun stocking stuffer. They’re equally delightful as a whimsical bathroom decoration when not in use.
