The rubber edges that are supposed to hold the pill I place is too flexible resulting in very uneven cuts.

Great pill cutter you just have to be careful that you line up the pill you’re cutting or you’ll get lopsided cuts. It doesn’t matter that much to me but if you really precise cuts you’ll have to be careful. There’s a slight learning curve.

when it’s cutting ,the pill slides. I only get a fraction of the pill and the rest shatters. Have wasted more pills than I would like. I bought this to give my 5lb pom her meds that have to be administered 2x a day. I really liked the design ,but with small pills it does not work. Will be returning and buying a different one.

For some reason, I’d expected this pill minder/splitter/crusher would be bigger. It’s a great design. Very compact and each section has a part that can be removed for convenience. The pill minder section has a removable center divider so it can be 1 compartment or 2. The silicone bottom of the pill splitter section can be removed for easy cleaning. And the bottom of the pill crusher section is a plastic tray that can be removed to more easily dispense the powdered pill. It even has a small brush nestled between the splitter and crusher that can be used for sweeping out all the pill powder. The compartment doors all latch securely and are fairly easy to open. And there’s even a good seal all around the pill compartment to keep things inside dry.
On the downside, the latches on the compartment doors are stiff enough to open that if you’re splitting or crushing multiple pills back-to-back, it could get tiring for your fingers unless you’re careful to make sure the doors don’t latch each time. The other issue, which is a problem with all pill splitters, is that the razor blade isn’t replaceable. So when the blade gets too dull to split pills the whole thing will become a lot less useful.

The RICHCEE 3 in 1 Pill Cutter Pill Splitter with Cutter &Storage &Grinder is a small (4.7” x 2.5”) brown transparent plastic box. The box is palm sized, convenient to slip into a purse or briefcase or backpack. The plastic lids close tightly and can be opened by pushing up with a thumb or finger.
There are three separate compartments in this pillbox, each with their own purpose. The left compartment is made to hold pills. It is divided in half, with two areas for carrying different pills. The dividing middle wall can be removed to make one large container. This section works great. There is enough room for a number of pills and the lid closes tightly. This is, however, not a childproof container. If used in a household with children, store it up high and out of the reach of small children.
The second compartment is the pill cutter. This contains a sharp blade—one more reminder to keep this out of the reach of children! This middle compartment has a rubber bottom piece with containing walls to help hold the pill. The lid to this section has a sharp stainless steel blade imbedded that cuts pills. This is surrounded by a plastic wall. When you push down on the pill, the plastic walls surround the cutting area to hold in the pieces of the pill. I tested this on small pills, aspirin sized. The blade worked, but I was uncertain how much force to apply. The case is made of plastic, and I was concerned about pushing too hard and breaking the whole thing. Again, it did cut a small pill. I’m not sure if it would cut a large one and I was hesitant to try.
The third container is the “grinder”. I think it is more of a crusher than a grinder. This section has raised squares on the bottom of the compartment and on a plastic box hanging down from the roof. Like the cutter, I was concerned how much pressure the box could take. I initially began to test a large pill, but stopped. I felt concerned that the box hinges weren’t sturdy enough, or that the plastic would fail. The crusher did work well on an aspirin sized pill. You need to open and close the lid of the compartments several times to crush the pill down completely.
There is a small brush included to help clean the “grinder” compartment. Initially, I thought mine came without one. It is actually tucked between the cutting and “grinding” compartment. It is small and white and a little hard to see. To get the brush out, you need to open both compartments and grasp the brush from both sides to lift it. This could be tricky for someone with severe arthritis or shaky hands.
The little brush did work well, though to clean the compartment took several passes. Dust from the pills can catch between the raised sections. But the small bristles on the brush did eventually get all the debris out.
All in all, I would say this is a good product, not a great one. The pillbox part works just fine. Both the cutter and “grinder” do work, but they are a little tricky to use. I only used them on small pills because I wasn’t sure the box would hold up to trying to smash or cut a large pill.
If the box were a bit sturdier, I would give five stars for the convenience of having a pill case, cutter, and crusher all in one box. I gave it four stars—it does what it says, but in a limited way. The idea is great, the size is nice, but you don’t want to worry about your pillbox breaking.

This is a well made container with a pill cutter/grinder. Each section has its own lid so you can open just that section to use instead of opening up the whole thing. The pill container section has a divider in the middle so you can split up two types of pills, but if you have larger pills you won’t be able to fit in that many. It’s still a decent amount of storage though compared to how small this container is. The cutter and grinder both work well and are easy to use, and the container itself just feels solid and can easily survive being tossed around in a backpack without breaking or spilling out pills.
