I had to travel from California to Belize and bring my insuline. Total one way journey was 3 plane changes and a boat ride. This pack did its job of keeping my meds cool. Started out at 33* F in the case. 17 hrs hrs later it was only up to 66* with an outside temp of 88*F

Specifics and Quirks: This cooler case has been a great for travelling with temperature-sensitive medication. The real-time temperature monitoring on the LCD screen is a fantastic feature, eliminating the need to constantly open the case and risk temperature fluctuations. The combination of double-layer insulation, reflective aluminium inner, Polyurethane shell & EVA outer provides outstanding temperature stability. I tested it on a 12-hour journey with the included ice packs, and it maintained a steady 1 to 4°C – impressive! The case itself is a good size, not too bulky yet spacious enough to hold 3 of my REPATHA injections. The multi-layer pockets keep things organised and the inner pouch is removable from the case so you can store it in the fridge if you are traveling without having to find room for the entire case in what is likely to be a small hotel bar fridge for example.
My only minor gripe is the use of LR44 button batteries for the LCD screen; a USB rechargeable option would be preferable.

I have not yet used the product, but it is important to inform buyers that the thermometer will not work until the transparent plastic strip inside the battery compartment is removed. The thermometer then shows the temperature in Fahrenheit degrees. Instructions like this should be included in the package and/or the website. There is no product warrantee or registration.

The case is sturdy and seems like it will be durable and protective. The case has good zippers that hold everything securely. The case is a bit bulky but I think that is necessary to provide insulation and maintain the temperature.
The temperature read out for the case is battery powered by two small button type batteries. I removed them until I am ready to travel with it the first time, but the reading display on the front of the case that is clear and easy to read. . The batteries can be easily accessed by a zipper under the lid.
This case is well organized and has room for several insulin pens plus additional vials and syringes or other medications if needed. It comes with 2 reusable ice packs that fit above and below the insulin compartment. Overall this seems like a good case that will make it easy to travel with my diabetic supplies.

I was thrilled to find this amazing product! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. The real-time temperature monitoring feature is nothing short of brilliant. No need to fuss with opening the case, as I can keep tabs on the internal temperature effortlessly via the LED screen. This feature has given me peace of mind knowing that my insulin is always in the optimal storage condition.
The double-layer thick insulation material is a game changer. It combined with a sturdy and durable aluminum shell and additional pearl cotton for insulation certainly gives the assurance I need that my insulin stays cool, even during my summer travels. The sealed zipper design is an excellent touch, helping keep out any undesired air.
What adds more trust and credibility to the product is the TSA-approved ice packs. Their larger size and less water content make it so much easier for me to travel without worrying about keeping my insulin under 74°F within 24 hours. I had a real problem deciding between giving this 3 and 4 stars for this review. I’ve given it 4 stars because it will do the job well while it works. However I’m skeptical that the zipper will last.
Pros
– Large – will accommodate multiple medications and should stay cooler with 2 ice packs.
– Sturdy case.
Cons
– Main zipper fell off the moment I tried to open it. The other zippers are smooth but not the main one that holds the case shut. I was able to put it back on and bend it to hold but I suspect these zippers won’t last.
– No on/off switch for the thermometer. So to prevent drain when not in use you have to take out the batteries, which are reached through 2 zippers and a clip. I’m keeping the batteries in a sandwich bag in the compartment.

This case is larger than others I have come across. It has a semi-hard exterior that resists being crushed. Two reusable freezable gel packs are included; supposedly they are TSA-approved although there are no markings on them.
The case is designed with zippered compartments on each side for the gel packs. There is an internal zipped compartment for the insulin, or whatever you are trying to keep cool. This design keeps any condensation from the gel packs away, which is nice.
The external temperature display is supposed to be accurate within <1.8 degrees Fahrenheit, and the actual monitoring probe is at the end of a long cable, so you can situate it where it needs to be.
The thermometer is powered by two LR44 button cells, which are included, and easily replaceable.
Overall, a great travel case and the integrated thermometer really helps with peace of mind that the contents are at the desired temperature.
