Been using this for a couple weeks, and my skin has gotten smoother.
I bought this because I am/was experiencing some pretty awful painful pus-filled acne. Using it regularly for a week (twice a day at minimum), slowed the appearance of any new pimples, and I feel like it smoothed out my skin as well. The redness of my skin took longer to go away; I noticed it more towards the end of the second week. All in all, it’s pretty impressive in my opinion.
On top of that, having a bunch of smaller bars is great. I have the big one by my sink, a small one in my shower, and another small one in my travel kit. The last one is waiting around for it’s turn, I suppose.

Super great on my skin. I bought this by reading reviews and I was skeptical at first because it looks small. but it lasts forever, like I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it hasn’t gotten any smaller. i love it, its not drying on my skin and it has no strong fragrance. it doesn’t lather and you kind of have to vigorously rub the soap against your hands in order to get enough to wash your face. BUT – it’s worth for the money!

I bought this with low expectectations, but I am really impressed. My daughter has had what the Dr diagnosed as eczema, but nothing we used ever really got rid of it. She doesn’t really get the rash in fall or winter, so I’m assuming it’s some sort of allergy and was most severe when she was an infant. She has outgrown getting the large red, scaly patches but still gets raised itchy bumps in the same areas (behind knees, on neck/back/chest). For the last few years we tried eliminating dairy, gluten, switching to unscented laundry detergent and using eczema oatmeal lotions, hydrocortisone cream and more. But it did not eliminate the rash or discomfort she had, especially at night. I was reading about this soap just a few months ago and decided to give it a shot. It worked! I was shocked and relieved and only wish I’d heard of it sooner. We plan to keep using this and request a prescription for zinc cream for when spring first hits. I hope my review helps someone out there! 🙂

This review is overdue. I don’t know why I strayed from this soap. I’ve tried all kinds of SD cleanser, from dandruff shampoo to prescription cream/ointment. Nothing seemed to control the SD flare-ups and they irritated my skin. I rediscovered the last bar of this soap – travel size. I used it every night to cleanse the affected area on my face, and used gentle facial cleanser on the rest of my face. I also made sure to moisturize during the day, including the SD area……..and WOW….the flakes and redness were gone within a week. My face has been clear for weeks now (cross my fingers)………dare I say, clearest ever, but I still use the soap every night to prevent the flare-ups. I’ll be a lifetime user. Never discontinue please!! 🙂

No, they never go away and more are appearing.After searching online for answer, I decided to try Dermaharmony 2% Pyrithione Soap ( I am a retired biochemist ). It has been a month of using , my bumps are getting better. This soap is not drying and my skin feels clean .
I wash my face with it in the morning and use it in the shower all over in the evening

Well, after struggling with acne for most of my adult life, I think I have finally found the answer. I had been using “the regimen” for about 10 years. While it had been effective in the beginning, I started to notice more acne creeping up a few years ago and it has only gotten worse (I hear your body goes through hormonal cycles every 7 years .. I dont know how true that is, but it seems to fit /shrug). Anyway, I was researching possible solutions and came across the recommendation to use head and shoulders as face wash. After doing some more digging I found that the active ingredient in head and shoulders that gets rid of acne is the Pyrithione Zinc so I went searching for something less harsh than head and shoulders and found this soap. I use it on my face, chest and back in the shower once per day and I use the Noble Salicylic Acid Spray on my face after the shower. Ive been doing this now for about three weeks and have been truly surprised by the results. I did not expect much, but what I got was a clear face, chest and back! This routine is so much easier that “the regimen” and I have gotten so much better results from it! I will be ordering more when I run out and I will be telling all of my acne challenged friends about it as well 🙂
