This Sharpies container is definitely more expensive than most. This is because, of course, the cost of the return shipping for the incineration of the filled product. However, just imagine everyone that throws their medical injection & other related sharp objects in the garbage. I believe that we’d all be astonished if that information were actually available & published to the public. This is a no brainer if you’re unwilling to make the effort for disposing properly of your filled Sharpies containers, (if you even use a Sharpies container for injection & related sharp materials waste). This relieves you of having to make a trip to your area disposal facility (if one even exists) or finding a medication & medical sharps waste pop-up event in your area (if one even exists). I don’t know about you, but I’m willing to pay more for this convenience & a conscience that’s clear for not polluting landfills or the oceans with my sharps medical waste. That’s got to be worth at least 5 stars, wouldn’t cha say? 😉

I had previously been using a small glassware dish to store my old time safety razor blades as well as multi-blade cartridges. I also was doing some DIY tattoo touch up and had a bunch of expired stick and poke needles rouggly 6″ long each. The 1.5 quart kit is the perfect solution. The tattoo needles fit exactly under the max fill line. I then dumped in the safer cartridges, followed by the more dangerous blades. I still have quite a bit of room left, so now the heavy red container sits neatly in the corner with proper labeling rather than a messy glass bowl. In 5 years or so, I will mail it to the destruction facility. Until then, I’ll keep the packaging and labels in the original outer box. If the place is no longer in business at that time, it is legal in my area to duct tape the lid and throw it out, but I feel better knowing it’s properly destroyed.

I have just started taking a GLP-1 Injectable medicine administered via an Autoinjector and the 1st thing I started looking for was a safe way of disposing of my sharps. I looked at several methods and other companies even speaking with my Doctor’s Office and my pharmacy before finding ARXG. It is really easy to use and after extensive research and using it for the past 3 weeks I know without even finishing filling the container yet and sending it back for destruction that I will use ARXG and their Mail Back Program for as long as I use Injections for my medicine. I like this company so much I am even planning to start using their medicine mail back program. This is a must have for anyone using injections.

This is a good necessary product. Disposing of sharps is not easy. Using this product takes the hassle of trying to find a pharmacy or other place that accepts them. The result without this product is landfills and streets that get littered with the dangerous sharps (needles etc.). It is a bit pricey but is worth every penny for safety and convenience.

Return packaging was provided. It was pre-addressed to be sent back by US Postal Service at no additional charge. I ordered a new one immediately when the first one need to be shipped out and important things to note. It was all hassle free. Just fill out the top part keep the top white copy, include the other copies with the unit and hand it off to the Postal Service. Wonderful.

I use several needles a week and after a few months my sharps container gets full which inevitably results in me spending countless hours trying to find a place that takes sharps. I literally cannot find a place that takes sharps anywhere near my home or near my work office. I think of how many people across America who are using needles for various medical reasons and there is no place to take the used needles. What are people doing with their needles? Dumping them in the trash? Ocean? Children’s playgrounds? I’m kidding. But seriously, it’s very difficult for me to dispose of my needles in a safe and responsible manner. I am so glad I found this service on Amazon. It makes it relatively easy to do the right thing.
