My husbands doctor accidentally gave him a vial of insulin over the normal pen needles he had been using. We didn’t want to waste it, so I ordered these syringes for him. The syringes come in a small box and are individually wrapped. They are easy to use. The needle on them is a little longer than he’s used to, but it is very thin and so didn’t cause any issues at all.
Overall, these syringes work just fine for insulin.

Price: $21.99 (when I ordered it, it was like $28)
I have a few thousand insulin syringes, they are probably 20 years old, so I need to dispose of them and get some new ones. (I wear a pump now, so needles are on hand as a backup). The needles I have are all “B-D” and came in a box, and were in a bag, with 10 in each bag.
These needles come in a box. The box has NO manufacturer listed. It has no other markings besides to say it is a box of insulin needles and a little blurb about using it as intended for one time use.
Each needle in the box is individually wrapped in a thin easy to pen package. There is a slit in the top of the package so it rips open without even thinking.
Next… since an accurate measurement is CRUCIAL, I used one of the other needles I have used for 20 years, and drew insulin from a vial until empty. The vial had only a little left in it. It measured 23U.
I then replaced it, and drew it with needle, and indeed, it measured 23U.
So the measurement is accurate.
I tested the needle and can say without question it is as comfortable as my original B-D syringes. There was no notable difference, and no discomfort.
The reason I dont give it 5 stars? Because they say it is “EASY TO READ” and honestly, this is not true. The pictures in their listing are true to the needle, but be aware they are also zoomed in.
My B-D needles text is BOLD. The lines are very pronounced. These needles the lines are small and so is the text. Neither are bold. I have only slightly less than perfect vision and I can read a book without glasses, I can read a food label without glasses, I can read the fine print on a candy bar wrapper without glasses, but these, I struggled with just a hint.
Other than that, they are great

Just what I expected in this device. I can open only one per use; so at this review, so good so far.
The box contained 0.5 mL each as ordered, but the pucture on the box displayed 1mL syrnge.
Each syringe is individually wrapped and should since for medical use.
Only 4 stars because of the box pict7red 1mL syringe instead of 0.5mL.
