I purchased this to wear while riding my horse. My iphone is only a 5 but it lives in a clunky OtterBox. The phone fits into the pouch with ease and tons of room to spare. My main complaint is that while you can remove the phone with one hand you really need 2 to put it back into the holder. Once you’re up on a horse both hands aren’t always free enough for that sort of thing. Thankfully it’s a great excuse to not be interrupted by calls and texts while I ride so that almost lands it in the “pro” list.
When purchasing this item I worried that my very slender build and naturally high waist would result in some fitting issues. While this does tend to result in the SPIbelt inching up higher on me than it does the “normal people” models, it really doesn’t actually bother me. The belt is plenty tight enough. (Which almost never happens! I was sure I was going to have to hem it shorter.) I even have room to tighten it if the belt stretches although it feels of decent enough quality that I don’t expect that. Another pleasant surprise was that even after a hard work out I didn’t get a gross patch of sweat just under the belt where the breeze couldn’t wick it away. I’m not even sure how that’s possible but it was a pleasant surprise.
Horse people who might read this: I took this out for a brief XC school. It stayed secure, didn’t bounce while we practiced bank after bank jump and fit neatly just beneath the edge of my XC vest. I personally had room to actually put it on over my vest if I wanted and it has enough stretch that I don’t think I’d have to worry about it dropping down, etc. Plus you can get it in just about any color to match your outfit!
For sizing consideration I’m 5’8″, 121lbs and high waisted. Easy fit for me.

I first purchased a Spibelt around 5 years ago and it has faithfully served me through thousands of miles of running and many more of rollerskating. I’ve fallen on it (skating) on concrete, tossed it in the washing machine and dryer, worn it to concerts, etc, but it’s still just as functional as ever.
I recently bought a second one because I’ve been running at night more and I wanted to pick up the reflective version for visibility (and it is indeed quite reflective). It’s just as stretchy as the original material, and performs just as well; it never bounces, it’s secure, and I feel confident that my phone and small items are safe and sound. The band is also pretty handy for hanging a small lightweight towel. As long as you wear it low around your hips it doesn’t constrict breathing at all, and it’s so small and lightweight that it doesn’t cause any excess sweating.
Definitely one of the best products I’ve ever purchased for running- I’m a dedicated customer for life!

I ordered this belt on the recommendation of the Wirecutter as the best running gear for holding phone and keys. I have used the belt and I am very happy with the purchase. I keep my phone, keys, inhaler, credit card in the expandable pocket. It fits them all. The belt is adjustable and stays tight on my waist through the run. Really forget that it is there sometimes because there is no chaffing or bouncing or distraction from discomfort. I am 100% happy with the belt and I would recommend it to any runner or jogger. The belt is adjustable to fit many body types so the fit can be customized to your waist. This was important to me because other belts I saw recommended had more size ranges and so you had to pick one size and hope you don’t ever lose or gain weight. This also means you could share it between yourself and another member of your household if you both run on separate occasions. I appreciate that the product is made in the USA and this also influenced my decision to purchase. So I feel good that the product works, is adaptable, and supports my values with my dollars.

Holds so much stuff and doesn’t bounce around when I run (make sure to position it right to lessen the bounce). It holds my phone, a 5oz soft water bottle, and my keys easily. Have used it almost daily for 6 months and it is still in great shape. You can also throw it in the washer when it gets smelly.

This belt arrived promptly ( both) of them, the first arrived damaged, so I requested a replacement. Amazon sent me another one and it arrived even before a had sent the previous one. The second one arrived in new conditions no scratches or tears like the other one. It fits my iPhone 16 Pro Max even with its UAG cover but other that a credit/debit, one key and a couple of bills I don’t think it will be able to fit anything else. But then again that’s more than enough stuff needed to go for a run. It doesn’t bounce and it is quite reflective. Thanks Amazon for your prompt response.
I attached photos of damaged Spibelt and the nice one .

It is lightweight and my phone fits perfectly, so it is just what I wanted and a great purchase for me. However I did get a bit concerned when I loosened the belt to try to find a comfortable fit. The product description claims “belt fits waist sizes of 25″ through 47″ comfortably”. I’m a 75 year old woman. I had to totally extend the belt to its loosest setting in order for it to fit comfortably around my 38″ waist. If I clasped it around my 43″ hips the elastic had to stretch, which I’m sure would cause discomfort after a certain amount of time. Just something to be aware of!

I tried a few pouches, like flip belt, Lululemon, Nathan, and a few others. Only this Spibelt fits my pixel 6 with a case. Went out for a run and itditn move. Removing the phone and putting it back while running wou,d be very very challenging. It’s thick, comfortable to wear, reflec5ive seems high quality. It works and the storage is flexible. I think it can take my phon plus a gel pack.

This belt is good quality and provides a secure no bounce cell phone storage for an adult relative who is differently abled and regularly competes in marathon racing. Having a cell phone available, which does not impede performance, adds an extra layer of safety and peace of mind should he need help.
