    Works as shown

I took this on an international trip and the concept is good, but the major drawback is the area available for vial storage. It is not deep and therefore of limited utility for my use case.

A plus of that the cool packs, placed in the freezer overnight for maximum utility, keep the contents cool for about 6-8 hours. The construction is top notch, quality zipper, external material and insulation gave me confidence that this item would not give up the ghost while I was on a trip.

This product was received as a promotion. I got this cooler travel case to have when we go outdoors in the summer or we take a long drive/flight, etc. I require two different types of insulin, so this is just what I need to transport them. I love how long the biogel stays cool in order to keep my insulins at a safe temperature. Here in Texas we get such hot springs/summers that I won’t travel without some form of cooler with ice or big bulky bag. This cooling travel case eliminates the need for both those bulky items and allows me to be minimal in my transporting of vital medications. A win-win!

I am very pleased with travel case. I do NOT use insulin but I do have a medication that requires refrigeration – this case will be perfect. (I like it so much better than the one the drug company provided.)
The exterior is a canvas (or, canvas like material) with a fine mesh weave. It is flat black in color. The zipper unzips on three of its four sides allowing the case to be opened completely flat. The two pull tabs are a good size and are securely mounted.
The interior is just as shown in its ad – made of silver, reflective material, yet soft not stiff or metallic. I really like the elastic tabs and mesh pockets, too.
The reusable ice pack feels very substantial; with a bit of care and consideration it will be good for a long time. Instructions for its use/care are printed on one side of the ice pack.
There is NOTHING cheap or flimsy about this case.
I am very glad I found this one.
I would not hesitate to recommend and would buy the product again, if needed.

This is a very nice travel case for transporting temperature-sensitive medications that are in pen form, such as insulin or GLP-1 agonist medications.

I use a medication that has an auto-injector, and the needle end is large. I was able to transport two such pens with me, and possibly could have fit a third one in if I really needed to. I appreciate that this case comes with two ice packs. The ice packs seemed to be well made and durable, not prone to leaking unless very damaged.

This case has some flexibility to it, so if for some reason you need a very rigid case, you might want to take that into consideration. It is by no means floppy or anything, just that it does not have a hard shell.

I also liked that it has multiple pockets and an extra elastic strap to keep the pens secure. This case is a good value and I would recommend it.

If you have any medication that has to remain refrigerated, then you know how hard traveling with it can be. I’ve used cups and ziplock bags with ice and it always makes a mess. So when I saw this convenient zip up travel bag that comes with ice packs on was side, I grabbed it up without hesitation. The quality is wonderful. It has a sleek look that isn’t obvious what you have with you. It’s a good size, I do however wish that it had a slightly wider storage capacity. My bottle that I have to take fits but is really snug. It does what I need though and that alone is worth getting it.

Initial impressions are this is an efficient container for a very specific purpose. The directions for use are printed on each of the two ice packs, meaning no hesitation or searching for how this works even if you don’t use it daily. It’s limited to 4-6 hours chilled or 6-8 if the packs are frozen (or multiple days, if the ambient temperature is low), but that still means an insulin-dependent diabetic can go out and do things without worrying about the medication times.

Even longer trips on the train, for example, would be possible because the train staff will provide extra ice packs during longer trips upon request, extending the chill window further, and I suppose you could buy a bag of ice on a road trip to refresh the ice packs, but even in a cooler, that wouldn’t last too long.

Basically, tools like this pouch offer more freedom and flexibility to those of us requiring medication that has to be refrigerated.

The padded pouch is just a smidge (inch or two?) larger than a cell phone, so can fit in a purse, bag, or even a cargo-pants pocket (though I don’t know how much body heat would reduce the chill window. They do not recommend putting the pouch in a suitcase when traveling, both for the medication’s sake and so security doesn’t mistake it for something else. Plus, you can be more aware of the state of the chill if it is close to you.

I will say the pouch arrived here in the evening and in winter, which was enough to chill the pack so it was uncomfortably cold to handle, and a day later, the ice packs still feel quite cold despite it being the heat of the day. While I haven’t tried it with medication yet, all signs point to this pouch being a valuable tool for insulin-dependent diabetics, and possibly (depending on size) for other refrigerated medications.

Note: Despite my appreciation of the easily available printed directions, in reading them, I have some difficulty following what they are saying, so researching the care and use of this pouch to get a clearer understanding at least for the first couple of times might be wise.

We have since used the pouch for a trip via plane, and it successfully kept the medication cool. My husband had no difficulty following the instructions, so it may just be me. We are planning another trip, this time by car, and the ice packs are already in the freezer chilling. In just one trip, this travel case has become an important part of our packing process.

Great size and great value for the money. Keeps things cold for several hours. Not the entire night but good enough.
