I love this bottle so much! Or at least as much as you can love a medication cooler. The shade of green is very similar to the green on the iphone 13 (so good). I tested and it fits 2 Humira pens.
I gave it only 4 stars for four reasons: 1) It comes with two special ice pack things. One is empty and an “emergency” ice pack that you can fill with water and freeze in a pinch. The other one has some sort of special long acting cooling gel that you freeze. There are very specific instructions for the gel pack. It has to freeze for a certain amount of hours, then leave it sit out for 15 minutes and wipe the condensation off, then put it in the bottle and measure the temperature until it reaches 36 degrees and stays at 36 degrees….all this before you put in your medication. The instructions infer that it comes with some sort of thermometer that I did not receive, nor could I guess what type of thermometer I should use for that as there are no instructions regarding it. 2) The two ice packs were mislabeled. The empty one says it is the special gel and gives all the special instructions and the one that has the actual gel in it says it is the empty emergency bottle on the sticker with no instructions on it. 3) The sticker with the bottle brand on the bottle sliced my finger right when I removed it from the packaging. It is a very stiff, sharp sticker that does not stick properly on this bottle. I peeled it completely off, but it came off in little, sharp plastic pieces and it took forever because of the material and not wanting to cut myself again. Terrible sticker design. 4) It comes with two velvet sleeves to put medication in “to protect it.” It does not feel like they would protect from moisture at all, if that is the goal (IS that the goal?? It does not specify what we need to protect the pens from, so I can only assume it is moisture). To me they would need some kind of silicone sleeve for that or something similar.
I cannot foresee fitting more than two pens of any medication in this with the cooling pack in it. If you had a short distance and chose to put just cold medication in it to keep it cool and protected, you could fit 3-4, depending how big your pens are.
I still feel it is a very nice bottle that is really good quality and feel those are all minor things that could be rectified if they listen to reviews. **This product feels like it could be used for a nice water bottle for sure, as a side note (my guess is it would fit 12-16 ounces tops).

This item is absolutely a life saver. It keeps my insulin cool which keeps the integrity of the insulin safe. I would 100% recommend this product!

This insulin (or other pen medicine) cooler is very compact and ideal for small spaces, such as backpack or even a purse.
But it has space of only 1 or 2 very small (slim) injection pens. It says in the description 2-3, but i was not able to get 3 pens in there with the icepack included.
Because this is in fact a thermos with a large icepack, it lasts quite long and might be ideal for hiking backpacking or camping, where you may have no refrigeration for a while. Again with the drawback of having only 1-2 pens with you.
The set comes with the thermos, a gel filled icepack (that lasts very long when frozen overnight) and an empty icepack that can be filled with water or crushed ice for emergencies.
It also has a little luggage tag included.
P.S. I just noticed that my pens have a lid with a clip on the side (like an office pen) and when I cut this off, I could fit 3 in there. But I am not sure if everyone can cat these clip of, if that’s on your pen as well.

This is designed as an insulin/medicine cooler and it works extremely well. You get a drawstring sleeve for your insulin pen, a gel freeze bottle, and an empty water bottle that can be filled with ice water to keep the thermos bottle cold in an emergency. The thermos bottle is very nice and also versatile. This is vacuum insulated and will work with both hot and cold contents. It is also waterproof and comes with an excellent sealed lid. We tested this by putting boiling water in the bottle and it was able to keep the liquid hot for the entire day. Similarly, a test using the frozen gel bottle kept the contents cold for the entire day. You can not feel any temperature difference when touching the outer skin. It is also the perfect size for fitting inside car cup holders. Excellent design and very well made.

My kit came mislabeled and packaged wrong. Which indicates poor quality control. The bottle labeled bio gel that should had the freezer gel was empty. The bottle labeled emergency bottle that should had been empty was filled with the bio gel. The actual thermos container seems ok but as I said this just shows poor quality control and leaves a bad impression of the overall quality of this product.

I found the directions for this insulin cooler very confusing. There is a very nice green cooler that looks a lot like a water bottle. Two white ice containers are included, 2 bags to put insulin pens in and a luggage tag to list your disease, medicine, and emergency contact. The two ice containers are apparently mislabeled. The heavier one that has the biogel in it is labeled as emergency bottle. The empty one for using ice water is labeled as the biogel. In the directions, it says to observe the temperature with the “ther-” but that is where the sentence ends. There is no thermometer included and my thermometer would not measure it. My son had one very similar to mine that would work on it. I think it would take a lot of planning to use the biogel container as you have to freeze it for 8 hours but anymore than that can cause a distortion of the shape it says. You then have to leave it out for 15 minutes then leave it in the cooler for 30 minutes while monitoring the temperature. All this aside, it did work very well once all that was done. After 24 hours, the temperature was still in the 40’s. I was able to fit two of my insulin pens with the covers on them in the cooler with the biogel container. This container is much too large for my purse but would work well in a backpack. I like the concept of this but think the directions and labels need to be redone.
