I have swelling in my left leg. Enough that it’s painful and some socks are difficult to take off and they leave deep grooves where the top elastic touches.
I was looking for something taller than my crew socks, and I really wanted something other than black or white.
These are almost ideal. They’re soft, easy to put on and take off, comfortable to wear and the colors make me smile. The only issue I have is when the swelling gets really bad I need to push the top down a little lower. Still soft and comfortable. ☆☆☆☆☆

I’m not actually diabetic, but I have very large calves that make it hard to find socks that actually fit. These are easily the most comfortable socks that I have found. I only wish they came in more colors.

I love these socks I especially love that the ankle portion is flexible so if you have a thicker ankle they don’t cut in. Soft and cushy and take the tie-dye beautifully

These socks have worked great for me. I’m not diabetic but have a lot of swelling in my feet and calves. Compression socks do not work for me, they are way too tight. I like knee socks and I guess because I am short, these crew socks are more like knee socks on me. They are thick cotton, which I much prefer over that nylon material the compression socks are made from. My feet are sensitive to EVERYTHING, and these socks make me feel protected. I have had multiple surgeries on both feet and my toes are disfigured and feet are sensitive to both light and touch…I cannot deal with my feet being exposed since they are so sensitive and these thick but comfortable socks do the trick. I have an issue with my right sock twisting throughout the day ( because the foot is disfigured) and it still happens with these socks but they are still the most comfortable I have found. No thick band at the top digging into my leg. I got these in black, white, and multicolored and wear them every day, I just wish they made them a little longer like a true knee sock, and then they would be perfect.

I’m quite pleased with the Special Essentials socks I bought. Long enough to cover my size 10 feet easily. The fit is lovely. The heel cup actually reaches my heels and stays there without tugging. The material feels good, and the colors are a treat. I did notice loose threads at the opening. I cut them off and so far, so good. I’m hoping the issue is resolved.
