When running it is very quiet. It does a good job of cooling quickly and holding the cooling chamber at an appropriate temperature. We used it for an international trip. We went through security at the airports in the USA and Switzerland with no problem. The battery lasted about 9 hours at which point I installed the backup battery. That kept the cooler at the advertised temperature until we arrived after 12 hours and could plug it in. I take two different medication that come in injection pens. I was able to fit four pens of one of the medications in (just). However, only two of the other medication pens fit in the chamber. The chamber needs to be a little larger. The depth of the chamber is good but the width and height need to be a little larger. The name, “Secretsbox” is printed on both sides of the cooler in large bold letters. This invites unwanted attention from criminals who might want to steal those “Secrets”. We covered up that lettering with “Rx Medicines” to avoid that problem.

I completed multiple weeks of testing to make sure the product will work with my live medicine and it fails miserably – the claim is that it can keep product of 36-46°F even with temps up to 104°F. Its not able to keep product cool under even ideal conditions, never mind 104F. Take a look at my data set to judge for yourself. I used calibrated temperature probes and a heat chamber to ensure the test conditions were precise. This product needs to get fully recalled right away.

> 104°F Ambient vs 36°F-46°F > Fails claim > Cools to around 565°F at the most
> 95°F Ambient vs 36°F-46°F > Fails claim> Cools to around 55°F at the most

A cute look and white in color makes this is elegant. no noise. cooling is well battery power is good. we can charge battery externally also. charging indicator available in battery also. Few things to notify to improve. 1:Since you have an LED indicator you can show degree Celsius also in that. 2.Battery is not properly locking in its chamber when i am tilting backwards battery goes down. 3.Now a days small battery available in market with high and long lasting power maybe you can use smaller size battery instead of heavy battery.

Das Produkt ist wirklich fantastisch. Das erste mal seit meiner Erkrankung in 2007 konnte ich einen Urlaub machen, der länger als 5 Tage gedauert hat. Da ich 1x Woche Humira injizieren muss, war längeres Reisen bisher nicht möglich. Denn Humira muss bei 2-8°C gelagert werden um seine Wirkung zu behalten.
Ich hatte zur Sicherheit einen zweiten Akku gekauft, da wir eine 2,5 Wochen lange Motorradtour durch Norwegen und Schweden gemacht haben und jeden Tag eine andere Unterkunft hatten.
Den zweiten Akku habe ich nicht einmal benötigt. Ich habe das Gerät sobald wir im jeweiligen Hotel angekommen sind an die Steckdose angeschlossen und am nächsten Tag hat es 12 Stunden lang im Topcase des Motorrads fantastisch funktioniert und war auch vor Regen geschützt.
Dieses Gerät hat mir eine Freiheit zurückgegeben, die ich nicht für möglich gehalten hätte.
Danke für dieses Produkt! Beim täglich mehrfachen Überprüfen der Temperatur über die Anzeige wurden die 2-8°C nie überschritten, obwohl wir jeden Tag ca. 4-8 Stunden auf dem Motorrad unterwegs waren und das Mitte Juli.

Après l’achat, j’ai demandé au vendeur les caractéristiques pour envoyer à la compagnie d’aviation pour mon voyage.
J’ai appris que ce produits est interdit dans les avions avec passagers.(traduction anglais car le certificat est écrit en chinois et anglais.)
J’ai renvoyé un message au vendeur qui m’avait certifié que je pouvais prendre l’avion, j’attends sa réponse.
Je préfère le signaler à Amazon.
Le 16 janvier, après plusieurs demandes de renseignements du transporteur, j’ai reçu une réponse négative.
Donc, je renvoie le produit.

I am not diabetic, but need to take biologic medicine. The temperature it needs to be stored between 2 and 8°C. Once within 30 days of use it can be in between 8 and 25°C. The advertised temperature by Amazon is 36 to 46°F (=2.2 to 7.7°C) I measured in the compartment and it is not getting under 10°C. at all. In the enclosed manual it actual said the temperature is good for medicine that needs to be kept between 2-25°C. So I have to send it back, it does not work for my purposes. It did stay around 13-16°C. The left button at the display did not work. All the rest was good.

My wife has type 1 diabetes and on any trip, the first concern is how to store backup insulin without a refrigerator. “SecretsBox” is the solution that will help you in critical situations. I’ll prove it with our trip to Europe Cruise in June 2023, before which I bought “SecretsBox” with two batteries.
Because the name “SecretsBox” does not say that the box is for storing insulin, I have added a label ”INSULIN”, This avoided unnecessary questions from the airport security. I also added special fasteners to place the box in the upper part of the backpack – this avoided additional carry-on bags. We put the two pens & one vial in the box cooling camera.
Our flight was in the evening and I turned on the box on June 5 at 5 pm. We passed through airport security without any problems – the insulin sign was clearly visible.
Our flight departed at 9:30 pm, the box had been on the battery power for 4.5 hours. The duration of the flight from San Francisco to Copenhagen is about 11 hours. In the middle of the flight (after 9 hours of using the SecretsBox battery) I replaced the battery. By the way – I could not connect the box to external power. Airbus A330 has only a universal 120-240 volt outlet, but my Power Adapter was not fit it very well. The box continued to run on battery power until we arrived at our hotel in Copenhagen at 7 p.m. on June 6. By this point, the total time on the batteries was: 4.5 hours (before the flight) + 11 hours (during the flight) + 1 hour (way to the hotel) = 16.5 hours.
There was a big surprise waiting for us at the hotel in Copenhagen – the minibar was not a real mini fridge and does not keep the right temperature! I just plugged the SecretsBox into the USB outlet and it continued to run on external power (and charging the battery in parallel) until we left the hotel on June 11: 5 hours on June 6 + 24 hours on June 7 + 11 hours on June 8 = 40 hours. Plus again on the battery – 3 hours on June 8 before the shutdown SecretsBox on the ship when the insulin was placed in the refrigerator in our ship cabin. Total continuous operating time without interruptions was 19.5 hours on batteries and 40 hours on external power.
We put in the box the reserve insulin for storage, one pen was put into use at the end of the cruise. On the return trip – from Copenhagen to San Francisco, the box was turned on June 18 at 7 am and worked on the battery until boarding the plane at 4 pm (9 hours). This time on the flight (11 hours) it was connected to external power plus 1 hour on battery after the flight. Both batteries are working well. The average temperature range, supported by SecretsBox, during our trip, was 37-44 °F
