Nice case to hold my epi pens along with my inhaler. The included ice bags will be great to keep the pens cool on hot days . refrigerate the bags – you don’t want to put epi pens in a fridge, so you don’t want to freeze the bags. But getting them to fridge temp and keeping the pens wrapped in the insert will keep them at the right temperature. The built-in temperate gage will help to know your pens are stored properly.

The upside of this being as lightweight and thin as it is becomes quickly overshadowed by the fact that there isn’t much room to put accessories like alcohol wipes and pen needles in this case (probably the reason that the example photos in the listing show more traditional syringes in how the storage pockets are setup). To be honest, it’s not that useful to me as a result, and I’m likely to keep the ice packs and discard everything else and just use the ice packs in other slightly larger cases I already had. (Seriously, for the price, this is a great way to get spare ice packs, it seems impossible to find replacement ice packs for these cases at a decent price without just buying a whole kit!)

Got this to use with my meds on a month-long road trip and it worked perfectly. I had two sizes of pre-loaded syringes as well as a vial (and supplies) to draw from. There was room for everything including pockets for the loaded syringes, the empty needles, alcohol wipes, and a pocket for the vial. The gel packs kept things cool even when we didn’t have a freezer for a few days (we did avoid leaving it in the hot car on those days). Sailed through TSA with no problems. This was just what I needed

I found this travel medication cooler to work okay. It did stay cool but it s really made for shorter travel distances. It did hold what I needed it to hold, a vile of medication, alcohol pads, and 5 syringes, but if I had to be away longer it may not work. Something to keep in mind…you can freeze the ice packs when your leaving, but you better have plans on how you’re going to refreeze them going back home. On a cruise ship we had a fridge, but no freezer. I ended up having the medical center freeze the ice pack, but there is paperwork and scheduling issues to deal with. I will use this more for travel on the weekend.

First of all, this travel case is not used for insulin, but a medication that requires storage at or below 76-degree F long-term. At this max temp, most air conditioned rooms, cars and aircraft are totally fine. However, those periods between enclosed spaces are the issue, especially during the summer months. I tested the travel case, set-up as recommended with inner sleeve and ice packs, utilizing a continuous-read kitchen thermometer. In a 79-degree F room, the case interior stayed below the ambient temperature for 11-hours. It also stayed below 60-degrees for over six plus hours. By the way, initial starting temp was 34-degrees, with the case kept in the refrigerator a few hours beforehand, and the ice packs in the freezer for over 12-hours.
As for the case design, materials and inner sleeve function, I like them all. The case does not look like some cheap plastic container, rather like a fine travel accessory case. The inner sleeve holds the ice packs securely, and has ample storage pockets for the medication dispenser and small additional items. Don’t expect to fit bulky items into the case, however, as the fit with the sleeve and ice packs is already fairly tight. Over all, this medication cooler case delivers in looks and performance.

This certainly looks as lovely as the photos and is well made and great quality. I like all the little pockets on the insert but with the insert and both ice packs it’s really tight and almost crammed without putting anything in it. Had got this not for my epipen but my edc phone/tablet charger, cords, earphones, all of which say to keep at room temp and carry with you but that gets heavy and basically there is no such thing as room temp from May through September. Hoping for a chance to leave something in the car when it hits milder temps, and also just insulate things while they’re in my bag, or even in the car with me, which doesn’t cool down that much even with the AC. It’s way too tight for that. But it is really nice, very durable, has no odor, and seems easy to wipe down inside. It’s a lovely slim container. Not really sure if the temperature read out works on mine though. One of my chargers is kinda old and large compared to what’s being sold now so maybe when that finally wears out I can fit. In the meantime I plan to use the insert in a larger case that doesn’t have an insert. Both parts seem very durable and very useful.

I really like all the compartments. As someone else pointed out, it doesn’t make sense why the insulin vial pocket is open at the top and bottom. Also, it would be nice to have mesh pockets to hold the ice packs. When the case is open, they fall out. A wrist strap would be a nice feature as well. I mostly like the various pockets to place the syringes, and other things.
