They are comfortable and have the wide top which I need for swelling around my ankles. I have washed them several times with no effect on color or stretch.

The top is looser than most socks so that’s a plus. But I have small feet (size 7.5 and 6) and the foot part is huge and bunches up inside the shoe which is very uncomfortable or I can have the heel part sticking out of the shoe which looks ridiculous.

Seeing some of the photos and negative reviews, I find it hard to believe we’re talking about the same product. I have wasted a lot of money over the years trying supposedly non-binding socks, and these are the first ones that actually are comfortable to me. I am 5′ tall and weigh 140lbs, wear a size 7 1/2 shoe. These socks never bind on me and stay up quite well, though they tend to slide down in boots (I’m more likely to wear knee socks with boots anyway). The only negative might be that they are rather lightweight and I suspect they won’t last very long, but I’m ok with that — it’s worth it not to have pain and itching from edema or cut-off circulation. Big “thumbs-up” from me!

I bought these socks for myself because it’s almost impossible to find just what I look for. These are perfect for what I want- they are thin and do not make you need a larger shoe size, -they do not bind at all at my ankles, they fit my somewhat larger wide size feet, -they do not slide off my feet going down my heel!!! wonderful!!! -they’re thin but not frail, and the material is nice, soft, and does not catch on rough spots of my fingers, and does completely fine in the washer and dryer, -they are mostly but not all cotton -the colors are neutral and pale the way I like, -they are ankle height plus maybe a little bit higher, not the very low tennis socks that I don’t like. Maybe I’ll look to see if they have them in knee socks [not ‘knee-hi’s’] for much colder weather. This purchase was a wonderful treat for myself.

I’m glad I took a chance on these socks. From the description, they sounded right for me. I’m not overweight, nor a diabetic, but I find that most socks are too tight at the top. These socks are not too tight! And they’re as soft as can be. And there’s no seam at the toe. The only thing was…. my computer has the blue socks a sort of icy pastel blue, when in fact, they’re a nice dull, faded denim blue. So I was very happy about that!

What can I say? A sock is a sock right? Not true at all! If I wanted to buy “just a sock” I would have gone to Wally World! I bought these particular socks for a very ” particular” person. My wife! Does she love them? Absolutely! And I think she may even love me a little more too! They are so comfortable and perfect fitting! Not too tight and they don’t fall down. A must for anyone with circulatory problems. The only regret, is that I didn’t buy them sooner! Guess what she’s getting for Mothers day! How’d you know? Can’t go wrong here folks. Not quite a stretchy as I had hoped but they are definitely less binding than regular socks. They did shrink quite a bit in the dryer, though. I wear a size 9.5 wide and I have thick ankles and they feel a bit small, length wise. Nice colors. Soft fabric.
