The most unique characteristic of these socks is that they have less elastic than most. Because it is lower than most, there is some concern that eventually it will start to slip down under the foot. But in the beginning, it represents pretty good value.

I came across these when trying to find comfortable, loose fitting cotton socks for sleeping. I bought a pack of these gray ones in size large about a year ago to give them a try. They are by far the most comfortable socks I’ve been able to find for sleeping in a long time. They have a thick terry texture that doesn’t make me sweat. There is no feeling of pressure or constriction on any part of my foot, toes, or legs from these socks. I only wear them for sleeping, because when I tried wearing them out into the world with shoes it seemed like the material would wear out a lot faster.
A few notes and suggestions:
– I wear a women’s shoe size 7, and I tried these socks in both medium and large. Even though I probably should wear a medium, I find the toe seam in the medium size annoying. So if you’re planning to just lounge around the house or sleep in these, I recommend sizing up.
– I do not put them in the dryer. I machine wash them and hang to dry. This will help them last longer.

Definitely not the quality Carolina Ultimate socks were years ago. These pill up terribly and feel as if they’re going to wear through quickly. Very disappointed in this product.

These were packaged well and received on time. I bought these for my Husband who really like these socks which are not so tight around his ankles. I know that these are diabetics socks which my husband is not. He likes the socks because they don’t bind so tightly around the ankles and are very comfortable to wear.
