These sharps containers are small enough to carry in the little carry kit that my husband uses for his insulin, which is much more convenient to use compared to a larger sharps container when traveling. It’s important to note that these really only work for pen needle tips, they’re too small for regular syringes.
It took us a couple minutes to figure out how to use these as you don’t need to remove the pen tip from the pen, just place it into the slot on top of the container, push it to a point that it’s held tight enough, and unscrew it, allowing the tip to drop safely into the container.
When full, they have a locking top like most sharps containers, so it’s easy to lock close and dispose of in regular trash or however your community requires. They are made of a sturdy plastic, so no concern about anything breaking through.
It’s convenient to have 10 in a box, so it’s easy to have spares. I haven’t tested how many needle tips it holds, but since the cap doesn’t go in there, it’s going to be several.

Does what I need it to do! While looking them over, I locked one thinking I could unlock it. I was wrong! These are safe and secure for your used supplies.

I needed a sharps container for lancets and did not know they came in a small size like this. I ordered them and was pleasantly surprised that the opening is big enough to put the lancet, lancet plastic piece and test strip inside. It is so nice not to have to worry about placing them in something inside the trash in case the trash gets knocked over by kids or pets. I hated doing finger sticks before and that was part of the reason why. Now I am all for doing finger sticks so I can add to my little lancet collection inside of these! It is a little hard to close to the closed position and I’m scared to try anymore because once it’s in the locked position you won’t be able to open it up again according to the directions. That’s the one con I’ve found but other than that I am extremely satisfied!

Its sturdy and great size for my subQ needles, though, the lock is bad, do not use it. It is incredibly hard to lock and barley openable when you do lock it, I had to push so hard on it and ended up using multiple things to try to open it, a did eventually open it but it dented the thing prerty bad, overall wouldn’t get again, just get a different brand if you want it too lock right.

Loved the size for discarding sharps. Fit my large IVF sharps however not the prefilled syringe sharps which is why I marked 4 stars. Easy to open and put in sharps, good quality and great price.
