Para utilizar o Triturador e Moedor de Comprimidos, comece selecionando os comprimidos que deseja triturar. Coloque-os na parte superior do dispositivo e feche a tampa. Gire a parte inferior do triturador para que as lâminas de aço inoxidável realizem o corte e a moagem dos comprimidos. Após alguns giros, abra o dispositivo e verifique a consistência do pó. Se necessário, repita o processo até alcançar a textura desejada. O pó resultante pode ser facilmente transferido para o copo embutido, pronto para ser ingerido com água ou outro líquido. Lembre-se de manter o triturador fora do alcance de crianças devido à lâmina embutida.

has some durable parts (the heavy plastic screw threading), but the metal grinder point bent inward while crushing a pill. cheap metal worse than plastic.

I haven’t had any issues with this combination pill cutter and grinder/crusher.
The pills I cut tend to be smaller, round pills, and this cutter has delivered a clean 50/50 cut each time. However, one thing to note is that there is NOT a safety guard over the blade. Other pill cutters I’ve used have had a sliding plastic safety guard that slides over the blade when the cutter is open and out of the way when the cutter is closed. So, if you are used to that, just know that this pill cutter is not equipped with such.
The grinder/crusher at the bottom also works well, acting as a mortar and pestle. To grind a pill, unscrew the bottom portion to reveal a compartment with a concave interior. This will serve as your mortar, while you’ll find the pestle housed within the upper portion. Place your pill right in the center of your mortar, and then begin to screw the upper portion back into place. To fully pulverize your pill, you might not want to fully screw the upper portion in place right at first. Instead, tighten it just a bit, and then unscrew it to recenter your pill pieces. Repeat as necessary.
Note: The bottom portion of the container has ridges to help with gripping it, but the upper portion is made of a smooth plastic. You will need a decent grip strength to use this effectively.

I tried splitting 4 different pills which were different sizes and shapes. The splitter did well on pills with a score mark, but a little uneven on my pill without the score mark. My pill without the mark was also oblong, which didn’t help. It did work well on one of my pills which was very small. You have to make sure you line up the score mark with the blade. I have never used a pill cutter, so can’t really compare to other manufacturers. I really have no need right now for a pill crusher, so that feature doesn’t do much for me. The size is a little bulky with the cutter and crusher design. I would prefer something a smaller and flat.

The pills jump a little when I split them, but thats fine because the cover keeps them in the cutter area. I love the little holder part, and the grinder. I use this for my dogs pills and she doest like taking one of the pills. Our vet said to crush it and put it on her food and Ive been doing it with whatever I can find (mostly soup cans to be honest. Just slam it on down and crush the pill) But this is SO much easier. Dog doesn’t even care her pill is sprinkled over her food now. Its a nice fine powder verses my soup can method (lol) I like everything about this. I just wish the blade was TAD sharper, but its not a deal breaker

I only bought this to crush pills after an all plastic one broke. The metal component is the bomb, as it seems to do an excellent job of crushing the pill into a powder and won’t break under normal use like the other one did. I then stir a small amount of hot water into a glass to dissolve the crushed pill and let it sit for a few minutes before filling the glass with orange juice.

I bought this to grind my mini calcium pills . It works great . I was pleasantly surprised that it has a pill cutter on top.
Update, if you have arthritis in your hands, rethink buying this product.

Since getting older pills are getting so hard to swallow! And getting older I have “unfortunately” been taking more pills than ever. This does really helps break them into smaller pieces.
