This is a great size for travel, but it’s a bit annoying that it’s just over the 3-ounce limit for TSA. Seriously, they should have just made it 3 ounces! Other than that, it’s easy to apply and fits perfectly in my sling bag. Oh, and it’s only 1% oatmeal, just so you know.

I went in to my Skin Doctor with Dermatitis from trying products that REALLY irritated my skin to the point of burning, cracking, red and peeling. She gave me a prescription ointment and the recommendation of trying the Avene line. I mentioned Av**o (the “other” line that has a different letter at the end of the name, and shall remain nameless) and she said “That’s not a bad line either, but this one I even suggest for my Eczema Babies. We actually have it available here in our office or you can order it on Amazon.” She gave me a sample of this exact product. I used it after the ointment on only the parts of my skin that didn’t have the ointment on it, as suggested, and I went ahead and ordered it. When done with the ointment treatment, I used it all over my face and neck. At first it felt abit “greasy” after application, and I’m not sure how it would fare under makeup. But now… No irritation, still has a heavy feel (not as greasy), but makes the skin on my face and neck feel and look great! I’m excited to go back to my Skin Doctor and have her see the results and get more Avene product recommendations from her!
P.S. No scent and I’m still using the “tube” I originally ordered. Doesn’t look to be down to half way yet. I don’t care! I’ll be ordering this again!

During winter months, I always have trouble with dry, itchy patches all over my hands. Use of a product free of dyes and fragrance is essential to my well-being. This Avene lotion fits my need nicely. The thickness, in my opinion, is between a lotion and a cream. It both calms and hydrates my needy skin. I like that it came with a safety seal over the opening and that the squeezable container is just the right size to carry in my handbag for on-the-go. This is my first time with the brand but won’t be my last.

On the bright side, it’s not greasy, there’s no smell whatsoever, so if this is what you’re looking for, it may ben an option. However I can’t say it moisturizes well.

I suffer from occasional eczema and when it flares up it is super annoying. I get the little itchy blotches and nothing seems to work. I decided to give this one a try and I have really enjoyed using this lotion. It is super convenient in that it is a travel approved size at 3.3oz as well. It has been great and is also hydrating. Great for my sensitive skin. I also really like the smell. It is made with colloidal oatmeal, ceramides, and ad-rsyl. Not much else to say other than it has been very pleasant to use and I would definitely recommend it.

I was very optimistic to use but personally not a good fit for me because it has 5 ingredients that trigger my scanner for FA breakouts – Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Polysorbate 20, Sorbitan Isostearate. I love avene so it saddens me that I can’t use it due to my FA but maybe I will use on my hands or something

I love the size of this hand cream because it would fit in just about any handbag I own. It’s made without any perfumes or dies and of high quality ingredients. As for the feel on my skin, it’s excellent and leaves my hands feeling soft and supple without any sticky residue or oiliness. It’s soothing and last a long time to protect my skin even after lightly washing my hands. The cost is on the high side, but the quality is unmatched.

I have seasonal eczema and I’m allergic to Vaseline, so I’m always on the lookout for sensitive and nice creams on some of my scaly snake patches. This tube is a nice size, 3.3 oz (not TSA compliant out of the box unfortunately), so it’s portable and convenient to chuck in my backpack or purse.
The formula feels a little tacky and slightly greasy, but absorbs nicely into the skin after a bit. Leaves my hands and arms feeling moisturized for a few hours. I think it could be a tad cheaper for what it is, but I don’t think it’s the worst buy if you’re allergic to something like Cerave (has parabens) or want something more quality compared to a drugstore brand or Aveeno. Would recommend.
