I had been looking at this for about a year before finally pulling the trigger. I loved the concept and the idea of a kid controlled story machine, but yikes the price was so high.
I finally made the purchase and as soon as I opened the box my very first impression was ‘this has no weight to it and feels so cheaply made, why did I just spend $100 on this…’
I had it set up high when its was used because I felt like if my kid dropped it once it would break..
But alas, after only a month of light use its already having issues. It will randomly turn off, sometimes wont play at all.
This was the kid of honest review I was looking for when initially looking at this machine.
Save your money and get literally anything else.

Our 3 year old (previously an excellent sleeper) suddenly started waking up in the night and coming into our room. We tried EVERYTHING and it lasted 2 months straight. Finally, we stumbled across this device. He didn’t immediately take to it, but after a few tries he learned to love it. He enjoys choosing his story before bed, and it has kept him there every night ever since (over a month now). So happy we gave this a shot, highly recommended.

We purchased this story player to help my kids rest and sleep at bedtime. My grade schooler has trouble falling asleep at night, often laying awake for an hour or more so we wanted to try something different. Regular stories were too stimulating, but these relaxing sleep stories seem to help. I have also used it at quite time for my 4 year old and he seemed to enjoy it as well.
The design is great and the sound quality is good. The stories are relaxing but interesting. There is no background music or sounds, just the narrator telling the story.
My kids love that they get to choose their own adventure when picking stories. There’s also an option to pick longer or shorter stories with the ⏳ button on the side.
Overall I would recommend this for any kid who loves stories at bedtime or has trouble sleeping.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the morphee. Absolute game changer. So many stories they never get bored and bedtime is now exciting! We’ve had it for a while now and it hasn’t worn off. Highly, highly recommend! I will be giving this for baby and kid gifts a lot! Definitely worth the price! The only thing I would change about it is that I have to remember to charge it every few days. Otherwise if it stays plugged in there is a light-obviously bad for sleep. So I try to remember to make it part of my morning routine to plug it in.

I have 3 kids and one of them was having the hardest time trying to fall asleep. We tried many different things but once we got the Morphee she falls asleep within 10 minutes. We loved it so much we bought one for both bedrooms in our house.

My toddler will only listen to this about once a week, but it’s very therapeutic and the music is beautiful also
