This solution seems to be working to release my trigger finger discomfort. When you apply it and rub it in your hand, it becomes sticky at first and after a while the stickiness goes away.

Received Solv’D for my dupuytrens contracture but noticed that it had expired on 6/11/24, lot 9008370 and it had leaked from the bottle. I requested a refund and received it in a timely manner.
Needless to say I threw it away being scared to use the product.

I couldn’t find much actual information on the Solv’D topical bottle. As shown in photos. I was surprised when I looked it up and found most DMSOs are solvent cleaners, not made for skin. I found the type used for skin should be prescribed by a doctor.
I can’t trust or recommend this product.

This appears to be a replacement for the product “DUDE” and it seems to work in the same way.
It doesen’t eliminate the problem, but it does seem to keep the hand from becoming disfigured.

Unlike other reviewers, my bottle has an expiration date of 2.5 years from now, and I did not notice any strong scent to this at all. I use a lot of essential oils but I am unable to ascertain what EOs might be in this.
Like other reviewers, I found the print to be extremely small and missing parts of the letters. I also had an Amazon sticker on mine covering part of the label, but I was able to peel it off enough to get a picture. It still doesn’t solve the mystery of what is in the oil.
I got this because I have been experiencing trigger finger and my husband has constrictures in the palms of his hands. Getting him to use something regularly is like pulling hens teeth, so no idea if it helps with that, but I did seem to gain some relief from trigger finger. It definitely remains sticky on the skin, but we are just coming off a long, hard winter, so my skin soaks the oil in pretty quickly. I’ll keep using it a while longer to see if I can get even more relief, even though I’m a little leary about putting unknown ingredients on my skin.

I can’t totally tell if it’s doing anything but at least it’s mostly pleasant to use so far though. I get really bad arthritis as an artist and some pinched nerve issues, capral tunnel, undiagnosed whatever is going on with me, so I figured this was worth a try on my fingers and wrist.
It’s an unusual sticky oily mixture that smells very herbal/verdant and somewhat familiar yet not- smells earthy and medicinal. It’s nice and slightly slippery yet still grippy which is excellent for giving yourself a hand massage while you apply and wait the X minutes to absorb. I don’t recall any immediate alleviation but maybe the slightest warming and surface level numbing (or maybe it’s placebo effect). The massage at least feels nice! Wish they could bottle that too..
The removal instructions are unclear and nonexistent, it kind of doesn’t wash away but the residue slowly disappears so 🤷♀️
Value for product is SO steep though. And the dosage is a big ole dropper full so we’ll see how long this lasts… TBA til I’m finished if I find it good enough to re-purchase, will update if so!

This stuff did not give me any help where my fingers and thumbs hurt. I let it get absorbed by my skin as directed, but it just got more sticky. I could not remove it with dishwashing soap. No result. I then tried rubbing alcohol. No luck. I finally borrowed some Goop from my mother-in-law, and an abrasive cloth, and I was relieved that it is possible to get rid of it. It left an aroma on my hand, which remained for at least an hour. It’s still not entirely gone, but getting weaker.
