In general this medicine case is a big step up from my previous pharmacy standard two-a-day pill keeper. I love that I can take meds out one day at a time, and that reach section for the day has it’s own closing lid. For my use I use the two outside sections for actual medication and the two inside ones for gummy vitamins. In the middle there is a round opening that just baaaarely fits a 3-1/8 pharmacy medicine bottles and still allows the container lid to close. I do wish each section for the four days was a little bigger. I don’t think adding an inch to the height would be a huge issue, but it would add a good about if space for storage each day.
My first issue/recommended improvement for the manufacturer would be a twist-to-close lid, or some kind of latch to keep the lid on. Right now there isn’t one so if you toss the container in a suitcase or bag the lid will inevitably pop off, allowing the blue daily pill holders to slide out. I will probably pick up a pair of adhesive child safety latches (the kind that hold fridges closed) and slap those on each side.
The second big improvement that I feel is very important for the manufacturer to implement is adding color to the raised words (the day that is on the end of each blue pill pack, and the time periods on each of the four sections) for improved visibility. The words on the pill sections are hard enough to read in GOOD light. Now imagine if you have vision issues, or need to take medication at night in minimal light. Not being able to clearly read the sections puts one at risk for mixing up days/times and taking the wrong meds. I was going to use a label printer to add additional labels, but I ended up buying a Sharpie silver paint pen (I think it was about $3). I included some pics showing how huge of a difference it makes!
I do agree with the criticism that others have made that the individual time of day pill sections are a bit hard to open. Personally, I slide the length of my finger under the latch to pop it instead of using my fingertip and nail (which hurts). I don’t have any issues with my hands so the issue isn’t major for me, but I imagine if one had arthritis or other strength or mobility issues they would need to use a tool like a fork to open them. Medical tools/devices like this should be engineered to be universally functional – to make our lives easier, not harder.
Between the Sharpie pen and the latches to keep the lid shut, I will probably end up spending an additional $10 spend on this at that point it will be five star unit. As purchased I have to give it four stars. Really good pull holder, would be fantastic if the manufacturer made a few updates.

These 4Thought GEMS outperform every other medicine organizer/dispense system I’ve seen and/or tried over the last 50 years!
These little daily trays are:
__EXTRA STURDY (not quite fist-or-hammer proof);
__LATCH MUCH MORE SECURELY than any other snap-in or slid-over designs;
__EASY TO OPEN (even for person with manual dexterity issues);
__EXTRA EASY TO UNLOAD a dose (or remove a single item) due to 2 slanted sides;
__OPENS EXTRA WIDE due to Physically Hinged Lids (vs cheap fold-over plastic ones);
__HUGE CAPACITY PER CHAMBER due to the High Domed Lids — for multiple large medicines;
__APPEARS AND HANDLES LIKE A MUCH SMALLER MEDICINE DISPENSER !!!
__VERY EASY TO RELOAD with a full week supply of multiple medicines —
(up to 4 Doses per day, or 3 Doses plus 1 standby med. chamber, or up to 4 different medicines
taken at varied intervals per day, etc..) — when arranged in a neat row on any flat surface;
__REAL SPACE SAVER in the Round Weekly Tray plus extra convenience, too.
The round weekly tray may seem like an unusual or awkward system once you are use to the typical rectangular trays, but this is an ingeniously designed medicine container/dispenser pack that takes minimum shelf or table space and becomes second nature to use almost instantly.
__TOP QUALITY CONSTRUCTION as long as 4Thought and it’s manufacturing plant continue using current or better plastic materials.
DON’T PASS UP THIS GEM !!!

I am in love with this pill case. I take pills/vitamins four times a day. And normally you must buy one of those large, flat ones the size of a notebook to have the functionality to separate pills by day and time of day. This one is light years better for several reasons:
1. It separates by morning, noon, evening, and night and each day can be taken out on its own. Which means if I’m going out of town for the weekend, I only need to grab the Saturday & Sunday cases versus carrying around that huge notebook size pill organizer.
2. When you flip the lids open to get your pills THE LID ACTUALLY STAYS OPEN!!! Other pill cases drive me nuts because the lids aren’t hinged. It’s just pinched plastic and they won’t stay open. With this one there are actually hinges on the lid of each compartment so it stays open on its own.
3. Each lid locks tightly so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally falling open in your purse.
4. Each compartment is big enough to hold a ton of pills! For nighttime I take 6 different pills. Vitamin sized, so definitely not small. Could easily fit another 3-4 in the compartment.
5. There is a section in the middle where you can either stick an entire prescription pill bottle (or two) for pills you only take on an as needed basis. So they’re always handy. In my case, I keep a small bottle of my Plexus lotion.
6. I think it’s much better looking than other pill cases. I keep it on my bedside table and if someone were to see it, they’d probably just think it was some kind of desktop organizer caddy. They’d never know it was a pill case.
I stole the idea from another reviewer and decorated mine with some washi tape and it looks even better. I could not be happier with this pill case. I’ve tried so many different ones, and none of them had all the features like this one. (I never thought I’d be describing a pill case in terms of “features”, but it’s definitely applicable to this one!)
