Super gross menthol gummies. I think menthol is ok in cough drops.. You are slowly sucking on them, so they go down slow and soothe your throat. Such is not the case with these! In gummy form, they are meant to be chewed, so don’t last as long, and don’t have the same effect. The menthol goes right to your stomach without providing relief in the throat where it’s needed, and just gives a stomach ache. I’ll stick to cough drops.

My kids did not like these because they taste like cough drops. They even smell like cough syrup. Menthol is listed in the ingredients which helps soothe sore throats but my family isn’t loving it.
Overall, these are easiest for littles who won’t drink Medicine and you don’t have to worry about choking on cough drops. Easy to chew and break down easy.
I only deducted one star because I was hoping for better taste.
I feel these had lessened cold symptoms temporarily. (Similar to cough drops) also added vitamins to help boost immune and kick the cold. Great health benefits.

I have been hoping to find something like this. I don’t like traditional cough drops because they are just way too strong. This is good for me. I like to suck on the gummies and feel they don’t take as long to dissipate as the regular cough drops do. I like that it has some added vitamins in it too. These are a win for us!

As a kid my grandma use to give me the menthol cough drops. I actually liked sucking on them. I ordered these because I don’t mind the flavor and wanted to try a gummy. They are very similar in flavor and you get the menthol taste and the cooling sensation when you inhale. I really think I prefer the hard cough drops to these because they linger longer in your mouth. I followed the directions and chewed these throughly. I think they may work better if you suck on them. They do seem to coat the throat. I don’t currently have a cough so I can’t attest to the effectiveness of them. However I do think they taste medicine like. If you are looking for something not so medicine tasting you should look elsewhere. Also I used them twice and both times I had a “burning” sensation in my esophagus. I don’t recall having this with my normal cough drops. The texture is softer than a normal gummy candy. They are not sticky and not sugar coated. I think these are just ok.

I’m all for the gummy-fication of all vitamins and meds, but in the case of cough drops I think it’s obvious that you won’t get the same results from a gummy that you (relatively) quickly chew and swallow as you will from a cough drop that you suck on for a good length of time.
That being said, for what these are – gummies – I think they’re great. The menthol taste isn’t over powering. I have some kids that hate the menthol cough drops and they are tolerating these gummies. They don’t have a super strong numbing effect, but I do think they have helped with keeping coughing under control for short time frames. Which is sometimes all we need, given this post pandemic world where all coughs will get you more than one sideways glance from folks!
Nice number of servings in the container. Pricier than cough drops, but from the perspective of 1) variety and 2) teeth health I think these are a nice addition to the cold season supply rooster. As is always the case, price can vary wildly on Amazon so I can’t really speak to value. I can, however, speak to quality – and these are a win at our house.
