Great quality item and very beautiful
I woukd only have to advise that when screwing the top back on, you absolutely make sure it’s right and all the way because i lost the top to my silver one and had to buy again. Other than that, perfect item for having my medication on me discretely and I love it. Does not fit pills that are big, only small ones

This next list is super cute and very functional for what I needed it for. I wear it in the shower everyday and it still looks just as good as the day I bought it. Also easy to open and it is a great length

To big for the purpose.

It is easy to open but it doesn’t open easily if that makes sense. You can wear it and it won’t open if just left alone. If you want to get your medicine you turn it and it opens fast and easy. It looks nice on, no one would know it Carried medicine. It’s also pretty long.
Julia –
Had to return them because they were too small to hold capsules.

I bought this a month ago because I needed something to hold my medicine for narcolepsy. Once I get tired, I’m going down fast and having my medicine on me is really important. It’s also medicine that’s next to impossible to replace if lost or damaged.
The chain broke 3 times (in a month) and I give up on fixing it. Pretty lucky I didn’t lose my medicine, so not gonna test that anymore.
I was looking to replace just the chain, but that’s hard since it’s gold-colored and that’s a whole ball game. Then I realized I had problems with the locket too anyway.
The locket would sometimes shut too tight and I’d have trouble (especially sleepy) opening it. One time I had to bring it home and have someone use tools to open it. During this time, I fell asleep because I couldn’t get to my medicine. Luckily, I wasn’t the driver in this trip out! Missing it throws everything off too.
Locket also was never tested to be waterproof. Honestly, with how tight that thing can shut, I’d bet money it’d be safe, but not taking a risk with my medicine. Just didn’t get around to doing my own tests on it safely.
Also NO IDEA HOW but every now and then it’d crush my medicine. I was careful that they laid flat when closing. Usually it just broke the pill in half, but on occasions I’d have a lot of powder from several pills. Just did my best to guess the right dosage.
I will say, though, that it was really cute. Never was scared of it coming unscrewed. I had planned to engrave it with something. It looks exactly like the pictures. And the length was perfect for hiding under my shirt from inquisitive children at the children’s museum I work at. (To them there’s something magical about a secret locket.)
I have returned this item and I plan for my next pill necklace to be silver, so I can find a cheaper chain that’ll last in case the one it comes with doesn’t.

I purchased this necklace for my blood pressure and anxiety medicine, but it was way too small for my anxiety pill. I barely fit three small blood pressure pills. Looks awesome and doesn’t appear as a medical necklace and you can place a picture in it as well. Great quality, very versatile, just perfect for nitro pills.

Update 2: I’ve worn my necklace out and about about 10 more times. The screw part hasn’t come apart again since but I DO check it very very often. A few times I’ve caught it stuck open. I finally got a picture of it. The link that attaches the clasp to the chain has gotten stuck on the lever of the clasp which keeps it open. (I’ve updated with pictures of what I’m talking about).
So now, when putting the necklace on myself, I personally use the “close it in front of you” method. This allows me to make sure that the link is NOT stuck on the lever.
Update 1: In my original review I mentioned the importance of the medicine I needed to carry. I also mentioned that I felt more secure having a screw lid necklace so that a latch wouldn’t become undone and I lose my medicine. Well today was the 2nd day I wore it out. I went to my physical therapy appointment (which was for my leg so no jumping or intense activity, most of it was just trying to get my knee to bend again). On my way home I was horrified to see that only half of the necklace was there and completely empty. Somehow it got loose and the whole other half fell off along with my meds. I was so lucky that I had the necklace between 2 shirts because that was where I found all my medicines along with the top half of this carrier. If I wouldn’t have noticed before getting out of the car, I would have lost the other half along with my medicine. For now I’m going to keep it and watch it closely to see if this was just a one time issue or if this truly just comes loose all of the time.
Original review: I needed something to keep an emergency supply of nitroglycerin in. I was hesitant about getting this necklace at first because I didn’t know how bulky and obvious it would be.
I’m really glad I took the chance and bought it. It’s beautiful in it’s simplicity and it’s the perfect size. It was big enough that I was able to put a 24 hour supply of my eliquis, blood pressure medicine and 3 of the nitroglycerins inside; yet small enough that it’s not obtrusive, clunky or very obvious in any way.
The gold color is soft and pretty, not the bright yellow cheaper looking kind.
I love that I have the option to get it engraved if I ever choose to do that.
The chain has a delicate yet sturdy feel to it. It is long enough to look nice if I wanted to display it, while also leaving the option to “nestle” it inside if you catch my drift.
This necklace works by screwing the front onto the back so keep that in mind when you open it, or if your hands tremble and you NEED to get to your medicine. Personally, I like the screw part. It gives me a sense of security that a latch can’t accidentally become undone and I unintentionally lose my medicine.
Having this necklace makes both me and my husband feel more secure in the sense that if I’m ever out or away from my medicine for longer than originally anticipated, I will have a days supply. Not to mention the nitroglycerin will be close at hand if ever needed.
I don’t wear it every day all of the time yet because I’m still in recovery. This means I can’t attest to the way it’ll hold up in terms of tarnishing. I have worn it out a couple of times and so far so good. Let’s hope it stays that way! 😉
All in all, so far, I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend this pill holder for anyone who needs or wants to keep medicine close at hand; without advertising what it’s for or what’s inside. Keep in mind, because it’s supposed to be engraveable, you can always add the medical alert symbol if desired.
I hope the pictures help.

I brought this specifically for when I’m out and about and don’t have my handbag. I’m able to keep the tablets I need most on me and access them easily. I love the adjustable chain. The pendant is a little smaller than I expected but overall it’s perfect.
