Love these Gel Caps, they go down So easily!!! Alka Seltzer is the closest science has gotten to a cure for the cold!!! I start feeling better after the first dose kicks in and just better with each dose!! This box is enough to cure you twice!! Really, by the time I had only taken 8 of these I was Well….so there are enough left for another cold!!! Excellent!! Thank you!!!

These Alka-Seltzer Plus Maximum Strength Powermax Liquid Gels work great for a cough/cold. I’ve always loved Alka-Seltzer Plus cold meds and these are no exception. They effectively reduce cold/cough symptoms and the relief lasts a long time. One funny thing, though: for my review, Amazon wanted me to rate the flavor of these on a scale of 1-5 stars. I gave it a 1. Do they really expect these liquid gels to have a flavor????

These worked great on my congestion, my headache, runny nose, and cough. I lose my sense of taste when I’m sick so I had no issue with the taste of them. They were very easy for me to swallow, but I’m used to taking meds. I also liked that I could take them every 4 hours. Some cold medicines only allow you to take them every 6 hours. I always feel like they wear off before I can take the next one’s. I didn’t have that problem with these.

Took these during a recent bout with a mystery illness that struck several attendees of a holiday party. These effectively helped calm general aches and a persistent wet cough. I have not had any other symptoms other than sinus ache and stuffiness. For that reason, I can’t share how effective these are on additional or more acute symptoms. To make matters worse, I used another Alka-Seltzer product for the sinus pain, so I can’t share how well these did for that symptom either. I’d really need to be full-blown sick to compare these to the general symptom cold meds that I usually take, which include Nyquil, Dayquil and Mucinex. If that occurs soon (hopefully not) I will share my findings in a revised review. I had already waited weeks for a genuine opportunity to write this review. Eventually, I figured I’d just share what I could.

I am a teacher with limited sick days, so taking time off due to a cold is not an option. Therefore, I rely on effective medicines to get me through my day.
I have been using Alka Seltzer products for years, and this product is no exception to their effective line of products. What I love about this product is that the soft gels make it easy to swallow – even if your throat is swollen and uncomfortable from the cold. No more feeling like a pill is stuck in my throat or even choking on a pill – this form saves the day!
I also appreciate the fact that it targets multiple symptoms, instead of just one. It knocks out the cough, which is one of the most embarrassing, annoying parts of colds for me, but it also eradicates the body aches I usually get, as well.
I think the price is comparable and fair. I would recommend this product, and this brand, to others, and I will definitely consider purchasing in the future.

My wife contracted a bad cold/flu. It’s been lingering for over a week now. Pesky weather changes. Anyways, she was coughing up flem, had a nasty head ache, was feverish, hot and cold at the same time, shivering, aches and pains. She couldn’t sleep either because her up nose was stuffed up. We tried this Alka-Seltzer power max liquid gels to help at least with the sinus . This med helped relieve the sinus issue along with many other symptoms namely the coughing and head ache. She could sleep. This saved us a trip to the ER. I am happy to report she is feeling much better now. Today she ate some eggs and toast with some coffee. She is almost her self again. In a nut shell, this Alka-Seltzer cold remedy really helped. It’s very comparable to Robitussin Sinus and cold. I’m not saying this is a miracle cure. It’s not. It helps relieve some of the symptoms of cold/flus to a great degree. I’m glad we had it. 5 stars.

Almost every year I seem to catch a cold. And I have used almost every over the counter product there is to help me feel better so I can function at work. But it seems that the Alka-Seltzer products are the only ones that actually work on me. I started with their plop plop fizz fizz cold tablets in orange flavor. Those are actually my favorite! But not always convenient to use. I carry these in my purse and use them when needed. They really help with my runny nose and sneezing.

I take these to combat severe cold symptoms. These provide relief from sinus pressure, headaches, and body aches so that I can get through the day while I’m sick. The capsules are small and easy to swallow. I prefer taking this over the liquid formula because I don’t like the taste of the latter.
