Reviews of this product are a little confusing as many people have stated things that are contrary to what I experienced. One person said it’s like slathering mud?! Several said that it doesn’t foam up and/or smells bad. All of these don’t make sense for what I got. It’s not mud-like at all. It’s the same constancy as any body wash I’ve tried. Nothing gritty or thick. While it doens’t foam up and lather as much as other body washes, it does create a lather with my loofah. And, it smells pretty good. The smell is kind of like a mild botanical scent. Nothing but good things to say about this product.

This stuff smells awful! It also feels extremely weird on the skin. Like slathering mud on your skin. It doesn’t do much in the way of moisturizing either.

Skin issues affect several members of my family so we’re always on the lookout for products that could help sooth. This wash has a pleasant, earthly smell and does a great job of pulling off oil while also staying moisture rich. The only thing I wish is that it was more sudsy than it is, but that could be a product of the contents within.

This should not be described as a body wash because this thing does not lather at all. It may be beneficial for dry skins to use as some kind of washable cream but definitely not as body wash. I have just used it couple of times so cannot comment whether it helped my dry skin or not. I do not spend more than 5 minutes in the shower so it is difficult for me to apply this on the body and wait for it to do some magic and then wash up. The packaging was good though but it is not very useful for me.

I am not going to use this again. I don’t feel like it is cleaning anything. It does leave skin soft and does not irritate, but after using I still feel oily skin. Further it is hard to decide how much to use and it does not lather and thus provides little indication of coverage. it is brown in color and smells somewhat off. I am not a fan and will not get this again.

I loved how this made my skin feel. It’s natural so much runnier than a traditional body wash and doesn’t create suds. It has a faint argan scent but the main scent is a very natural nutty/muddy scent something I’m unfamiliar with, maybe peat? Whatever it is I LOVED IT, but it may not be your sort of scent if you prefer the traditional scents offered in drug store body washes. My skins never felt or looked so buttery smooth after a shower.. seriously! Also love that it’s vegan. HIGHLY IMPRESSED! Also, the packaging it came it was very fancy.

This definitely doesn’t look or feel like most body washes that you’ll find in the store, but it did work. It comes out of the pump really liquidy and in a dark brown color. The body wash lathers into a beige-colored foam. The smell is earthy and slightly acidic. It doesn’t smell bad, but it doesn’t smell particularly good either. I think it did do a good job of moisturizing, especially compared to the Bath and Body Works shower gels that leave my skin feeling dry. If you care about soothing effects on the skin versus the look and smell of the product itself, I think this is a good body wash.
