Eczema-Prone Skin Relief – Gut Barrier

I’ve honestly just had the best luck with Codex’s products so I blindly ordered this and so far I’m very happy with it. They’ve done a great job with selecting very specific strains of probiotics that I’ve had success with in the past. I also really appreciate how the serving size is only one capsule – they don’t taste or smell in any way and are easy to get down. The only thing I don’t love is the addition of random additives in the “other ingredients” section. I hate fillers and while they don’t completely ruin this product, they definitely don’t help.

This supplement is a game-changer for anyone struggling with eczema-prone skin or looking to support their gut health. The combination of synbiotics, prebiotics, and antioxidants helps nourish the skin from within while also promoting a balanced gut microbiome. After a few weeks of use, there’s a noticeable improvement in skin clarity and overall hydration, making it feel less irritated and more resilient. It’s a simple yet effective way to address skin concerns at their root.
One of the standout aspects of this formula is its thoughtful ingredient list. The blueberry prebiotic blend not only supports digestion but also provides powerful antioxidants that help combat inflammation. Unlike some skin supplements that cause stomach discomfort, this one is gentle and easy to incorporate into a daily routine. The capsules are convenient to take, and they don’t have any unpleasant aftertaste, which makes sticking with them effortless.
For those searching for a holistic approach to skincare, this supplement is definitely worth trying. It’s more than just a topical fix—it works from the inside to enhance skin health naturally. Consistency is key, but with continued use, the benefits become evident. A great addition to any skincare and wellness routine!

The supplement was well sealed and not expired. There was no taste or scent, and I didn’t experience any kind of aftertaste or side effects. However, I’m not sure if they’re doing anything to help my skin and I don’t love the lack of information on their page regarding the ingredients, how the company came to be, etc- just that it’s made in Iceland.

My teenage daughter has been taking these for about two weeks now. While there have been no issues or concerns with her stomach or digestion, her face has actually become worse for blemishes. We don’t have much context on this, and so we don’t know if this is a short-term effect while her system clears out and this is a good sign or a bad one that there’s a negative reaction happening. So short-term it’s very hard to know the meaning of the effects. Given the lack of information and her immediate reaction, she’s going to stop for now and talk to a dermatologist first.

This product is exceptional. I have taken this product for 3 months now, and it has transformed my skin. It is now calmer, more clear, I have signs of a more healthy and happy gut. I found this product, after extensive research on probiotics with high quality ingredients, and from companies with strong scientific backing. Thank you, Codex Labs, for the skin transformation!

Blueberry Prebiotic and Antioxidant supports Gut Barrier and Microbiome. Product claims to be gluten free, zero sugar with no artificial flavors. Made in Iceland. This product indicates that it supports the gut, microbiome and skin. It comes as a 30 day supply with taking 1 a day as recommended. Claims to be free from gluten, soy, and dairy, with no artificial additives. Overall a decent value for the cost and a great addition to my daily routine.

My gut is feeling much better after 3 weeks of the probiotic. I don’t really care about my skin, but my hands have cleared their redness and irritation.
I saw some of the reviews so I contacted the company. There is 50 mg of maltodextrin per capsule. Potato chips or canned soups have 1-2 g (I care because I am diabetic and avoid processed foods). This is 20 X less. So I’m not worried about it.
Same for the magnesium stereate – 5.2 mg per capsule. Daily FDA limit for a 120 lb woman (I weigh more) is 125g. I’m not going to worry about 0.00416% of the FDA limit.
Benefits outweigh fearmongering. Makes me wonder if other companies don’t even report these additives

When it comes to skin and health problems, I remember the age old saying “you are what you eat.” So. When it comes to skin conditions, I’ve always felt that fighting the inside cause would cure the outside. So, I was a little skeptical but also very curious about testing this product. I also believe that when testing a product, 2-3 months of testing would be appropriate to see if the product is actually doing what it claims. So, this review is done after only a 30-day intake of this product. I cannot honestly say that it has or hasn’t helped my skin condition. I can say that my gut has been better. It feels more regular, and my stool is more regular. I do like MOST of the ingredients listed however, I am not a big fan of the fillers. Look at your stool folks! The look and smell of your stool tells you a lot about your insides. You ARE what you eat…
