I have a very stubborn patch of eczema on one of my fingers that can become intensely itchy. I typically use one of two different prescription ointments, but they leave a greasy sheen and can only be used sparingly due to the potential for skin thinning. I had recently read several articles in which hypochlorous acid was mentioned as having benefits for eczema sufferers, so I decided to give this product a try.
I have tried this spray several different times over the course of two weeks. It has provided me some relief during flare ups, but it isn’t the most ideal formulation. I wish this came out as more of a fine mist as opposed to a stream of liquid. Each time I have sprayed the affected area, a large portion has run down my finger and onto my hand. The remaining liquid on my finger needs to be rubbed in with my other hand. I am assuming this is due to the high percentage of water in the ingredients, but perhaps not. I have tried spraying from a farther distance and trying to cover a wider area, but that didn’t prevent the runoff. Each application ends up being kind of messy, which isn’t ideal. Thus, I am disinclined to purchase this again.

This is my 2nd attempt to write a review without running into Amazon community guidelines about medical claims. This review will be brief and is about my experience with Think Smarter Products Eczema & Psoriasis Therapy with Hypochlorous Acid. This product contains only two all-natural ingredients-hypochlorous acid and purified water. It performed as expected and at the current listed price of $15.99 for 8 ounces it is an excellent value.

This worked really well for me. I get eczema outbreaks on my elbows pretty regularly that get red and itchy and scab over. I haven’t really found much that can get rid of them, so I’m always looking for ways to at least keep it under control
This is a spray that I applied a few times a day, and got pretty good results. After a few days the scabbed over skin started to fall off, and it hasn’t scabbed back over. It keeps the spot feeling smooth and a light pink color rather than the bright red I usually get. I also have noticed that it’s not as itchy so I don’t have that constant urge to scratch it
This didn’t really decrease the size of the spot, but it seems like it will keep it under control until my body can naturally take care of it. That’s about the best outcome I expected so I’m happy with this. Will definitely purchase more

Amazon flagged my original review, I think because I used the medical term starting with “P”. So, to put it as generically as possible, I have “P” on my scalp, and this spray, while it doesn’t cure it, does take care of the itch, and for the better part of a day. I’ll definitely be buying this again, because I have not really found anything else that works on my scalp.
