Capital A Amazing product! I bought this after I started hearing so much raves about the Agave Lip Mask from Bite Beauty. Was intrigued but looked it and that product details for $26 for 0.52 oz! Checked out the ingredients and the main one is lanolin. A long time ago, I had a moisturizer with lanolin in it and unfortunately it did smell like a barnyard, very sheepy! So, I decided that what I need is refined, medical/pharmaceutical grade lanolin. This is perfect, odorless and flavorless! There’s another product called Dr. Lipp which started as nipple balm for breastfeeding mothers and then people started using it as a lip balm. I think that retails for $16 for a tiny amount and the only ingredient in it is lanolin. Anyway, this item makes a great lip balm alone but I got an even better way to use it adapted from my fave youtuber ThriftThick. She used the Agave Lip mask, but I use this instead. Just before bed, put on your lip balm and then cover it with a generous amount of this lanolin and wake up to baby soft lips! I use the CO Bigelow Ultra Mentha 2X lip shine from Bath and Body Works, let it absorb for a minute or two first, then I cover it in this lanolin. And my lips get dry easily, but this works. Considering this costs 1/8th of what the Bite Beauty item does, I’ll never be without this lanolin again! Plus after applying to my lips, I take what’s left on my finger and rub it into my cuticles! Has tons of uses and it is an ultra-refined, hypo-allergenic, high quality product! Love it!!! Just purchased the 4 oz of this Superlan Lanolin, so I’ll never be without again! Team Lanolin for life!

I have a lot of chronic illnesses, and my lips have become very dry and sensitive. I have to have lip balm on at all times. I used to use various lip balms but they weren’t emollient enough.
Luckily, through one of my health groups on Facebook, someone mentioned using lanolin on their lips. I came to Amazon and found this.
This is the only thing I use on my lips now. I keep one by my bed and reapply when needed if I wake up through the night, keep one in my purse, and one in my bathroom. I will never be without it.
It is in a big jar, I just get some on my finger and apply it with my finger. It has good staying power. If I’m going out, I can put lip gloss or lipstick over it and it’s fine. On it’s own it looks like a clear shiny lip gloss. It is unscented and a totally natural product.
I did receive one recently that the inner seal was open and you could see that someone scooped some out (ew, a return,) but I was able to return it and Amazon sent me a new unopened one.
On another note, I did try Lansinoh Pure Lanolin lip balm hoping that would be enough, saving me from these clunky jars. Although it is pure lanolin like what is in this jar, somehow it wasn’t emollient enough. And I tried another brand of pure lanolin, and it smelled really bad that I couldn’t use it (lips are right below the nose.) So this is truly the only product I use for my lips. I really hope this company never goes under or changes this formula. I would d!e.

I use the SuperLan Lite every night on top of my other skincare layers as a final, protective, slugging layer. I have dry, mature skin. I can still feel it on my skin when I wake up, unlike so many other things I’ve tried, including vaseline, Aquaphor, and shea butter. I can smell NO lanolin in it, which must be because it’s refined medical grade lanolin. They combine it with organic jojoba oil, so that makes it easy to apply to the skin. Yes, it’s rather sticky, but I don’t find horribly so (as straight-up lanolin would be). I bought the 1 oz. size several times, and finally bought the 4 oz. since I know now that I’m completely sold on it. My skin has been looking better & better, and I think it’s because of the overnight moisturizing with lanolin. It’s a brilliant product!

This lanolin is thick and very heavy, requires putting a small bead between you hands and rubbing them together before you can use, even then it is certainly not that easy to apply. However, it is wonderful for moisturizing very dry skin, especially your feet and hands. It has no odor and because it is medical grade and is free of preservatives, fragrance, and allergens, it is not problematic for my sensitive skin. I would probably order this again, but would also look at their lighter lanolin.
