After trying 5 prescriptions from my dermatologist without any success I decided to give this a try and finally something is helping!!! I have psoriasis on my face and eyelids. It hurt, it was red, it was flaky, it was impossible to cover up with makeup. I ended up using Vaseline just to try and keep it from cracking, it helped but you could see it was there and it wasn’t pretty.
This cream on the other hand is doing everything I could have hoped. It’s keeping my skin from cracking, the flaking is gone, the redness has gone down, it’s keeping it from itching, and you can’t see it once it’s rubbed in.
I will say that it does burn a little if you get it in your eyes. Which is true for most things, but with my eyelids being the major problem it’s hard to keep it away from my eyes. however if it does get into your eyes a little cold water fixes the problem. I’ve been using this for just a few weeks, putting it on 2-3 times a day and it’s already made a huge difference.
I am so glad I found this and decided to try it! It’s an amazing product and I feel like myself again, I don’t feel like I need to hide my face from everyone!

Rarely will I write a review of a skincare product without a month of using it. Never, actually. But this is close to miraculous for me.
I have a combination of rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis on my face and eyelids. I have lost almost all of my eyebrows and frequently lose more than the usual amount of lashes. I have tried everything available in stores and have been to the dermatologist to no avail. (She told me I had a yeast infection and actually prescribed 10% ketonazole shampoo and told me to wash my face with it, leaving it on for 5 minutes. This did absolutely nothing and actually burned my skin. I should have known better.) And it seems, reading on line, that the doctors are universally befuddled.
Searching the internet, seeing everyone’s frustrations with these skin conditions, finally from a California Plastic Surgeon’s blog I stumbled on, I learned about these 2 conditions in addition to the over activity of demodex mites that we all have on our skin, that some researchers feel may exacerbate or even cause all of these problems. And from her blog I learned about Noble Soap and Noble Formula cream as well as what product ingredients aggravate these conditions.
I washed my face with the soap the instant I opened the box from Amazon and then followed it with the cream. The redness was calmed IMMEDIATELY. It has been 2 days – 48 hours – and every time I apply the cream I am impressed with the calming effect. Clearly it works calming the rosacea and time will tell if it does anything for the seborrheic dermatitis but I am extremely hopeful. I wish I had taken a before picture. And I will write another review after a month.
I am delighted to be able to get these items from Amazon Prime. But my question is, Big Box Retailers and Major Drugstore Chains (you know who you are), why aren’t you carrying these products?! I asked my local giant drugstore chain pharmacist and he knew about both the soap and the cream and knew the virtues of the active ingredient, 2% zinc pyrithione. He offered to mix me up a batch in some cream if I could get my dermatologist to write me a prescription for compounding. Seriously? I went straight home and got on Amazon.
This is inexpensive enough that it is worth trying if you have exhausted all other options. The cream is very creamy as is the soap. A little goes a long way.

Unfortunately the ingredients are irritating and I highly recommend not getting it until they change their formula. There is no need for all the junk. The soap is still good just avoid the cream.

I have tried everything including rx Ketoconazole cream to try to keep my seborrheic dermatitis secret, or at least at bay. Nothing worked, not even the pyrithione zinc soap. I finally decided to give this a shot since it has a lot of 5 stars, and man am I glad I did! This stuff basically clears up all the red/flaky areas on my face, and the itch is gone! Note that the first couple of applications or so it looked like it was going to be worse. Areas became redder and instead of itch it was more of a light burn sensation. But I hung in there and after a month, I just apply as needed on areas that start to get red/scaly again before it gets to “full blown” problem. I first gently with my fingernail get all the flakes I can off the area without digging much, get rid of the looser ones. I try to clear up the flakes first without making the redness worse. Takes awhile to get the hang of it, but I find if I clear up the scales myself before the cream that the result is no scales after the cream. When I need to apply it, I do it at night as you have to give it a few hours for it to take noticable effect imo. My worst areas are forehead, nose (especially creases), and a couple spots around my mouth and chin areas. There has been a week where I haven’t had to apply it at all, but generally I’d say a couple times a week when I see it’s coming back. Remember that there is no cure for SD so the best you can do is to hide it and keep any itching at bay, and this cream is most definitely a goldmine for me. So glad I found this and wish I had sooner so I wouldn’t have spent so much $ on otc and rx stuff claiming it works for SD! Give it a go I say!
