I really needed a pill chopper and my last one broke so I got this one it does not chop all size pills I’ve gotten powder and had to throw pills away it only chopped little pieces instead of chopping the pilli in half and the only pill it chops fine is little round ones I feel like I got cheated and hope that the seller reads this and gives me my money back plus some do not buy this product

This is a nice slim profile pill case. I wished I had a case like this for my daughter when she was younger. I hated carrying liquid meds so I taught her to swallow tablets at 3.
I usually carried fever, allergy, pain and cough meds when she would get sick. This wohld have been perfect being so small and i could cut her the proper dose.
The pill cutter does a decent job of splitting tablets without a score. Blades are sharp for a clean SPLIT (not actually cut like most people think). I’d also like to make mention about the concern about the tapering direction of the cutting well. Its intended to taper-open to reduce the likelihood of crushing softer tablets while allowing it to help center roumd tablets. This is a standard design.
Its a nice carry case especially if you’ve got pesky rxs that don’t have a lighter or discrete dosing.

I purchased this to cut my large calcium pills after reading that it worked on large pills. It doesn’t. The slicer won’t even accommodate the pill.

This is a decent concept in that the entire case has 4 compartments for pills covered with one larger lid and one compartment with the pill blade covered with a smaller lid, making it actually of utility for traveling and carrying multiple meds/dosages.
However – concept flaws for you and the manufacturer to consider to address 1) uneven pill cutting and 2) difficulty removing pills
1) there is a silicone base with a shallow well as well as a groove that indicates where the blade will hit. The silicone base should have the point of the well coming downwards towards the lid opening rather than upwards toward the joint, since when you close the lid the blade hits/exerts more force first nearest the joint with the last bit of force toward the opening. This would help stabilize the pill from not moving as much.
2) the base of the box should have more sloping sides in order to make it easier to slide each pill out. Right now it is mostly 90 degree angles/near 90 and thus when trying to grasp.a pill, it gets stuck in the corner and often necessitates careful dumping of all of the meds and replacing all but the one needed.

This case is very solid and sturdy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how thick the plastic is. I really like that the compartment that cuts the pills is separate from the compartment that holds the pills — each side has its own lid that clicks into place to hold everything securely. My only concern is that the part of the container that holds the pill when being cut is flexible, which means you have to be careful to keep the pill centered instead of pushing it off to one side slightly. Otherwise, though, I’m very happy with this product.
